After three years of fertility drugs and IVF procedures, Patricia and Steve's baby is due in six weeks. Their first pregnancy ended in tragedy at five months when their twins were stillborn. Birgit has two teenaged daughters from her first marriage. Now she and her new partner, Charles, are having a baby together. Natasha's first labor was drug-free and she wants to go natural again. As her labor intensifies, she revises this birth plan and opts for an epidural, but before there's time for it to take effect, her labor goes into full force.
