H.G. Wells' the Invisible Man

Dr. Peter Brady, a scientist, is experimenting with space, time and mater, and the mysteries of the future at Castle Hills Laboratory. When working on his experiment of optical density and refraction on guinea pigs, one disappears. There is a dangerous leak in the lab and everyone must evacuate. Unfortunately, Brady becomes invisible after he found the source of the leak. After escaping from the British Government who wants to experiment on him, Brady seeks help from a fellow scientist who ends up being a traitor.

Peter Brady is flown to the Middle East where top secret agent Jack Howard is a prisoner of the anti-British regime. The Secret Police, headed by the ruthless Omar, are waiting for Howard to regain consciousness so they can torture him to extract information on the covert resistance movement he helped form. Brady, assisted by Yolanda, the resistance leader, work together to free the imprisoned agent before his life is imperiled and he is made to talk.

Dr. Brady is tricked into helping a woman he finds at a car accident site. Lured by the woman back to her home he encounters Constantine, a wealthy man who has been left horribly disfigured by an accident. The man begs for Brady's assistance to make him invisible to ease his pain over his scars. At first reluctant, he consents seeing this as the chance to have a human guinea pig for his experiments to regain visibility. But Brady soon discovers his primary desire for invisibility and must prevent a presidential assassination from taking place.

Dr. Peter Brady attends a lecture from a Russian scientist, Professor Tonya Brofuri, who is also studying invisibility, & may be able to help find a cure to reverse his own invisibility. After the lecture, Professor Brofuri speaks out against her government & attempts to defect. Unfortunately the plan fails & she is quickly removed from the lecture hall forced back to the embassy, where she is effectively imprisoned. Brady manages to break her out & two encounter an American diplomat who offers her asylum in the United States, but they soon begin that the diplomat isn't what he seems to be. Danger lurks around each corner as it becomes clear the Russians will do whatever it takes to get her back.

Peter becomes headline news after being involved in a car accident and the press won't leave him alone. In the meantime, his niece Sally brings her friend Linda home, who's convinced her stepfather and his sister are trying to murder her mom. The siblings are deep in debt because of the family estate, and her mother refuses to pour any more of her wealth into the property. At first, Peter thinks the young girl is simply overreacting, but soon he decides to investigate.

Great stage actress Barbara Crane is blackmailed after being duped into believing that she killed a hobo with her car. The other driver persuades her in the interests of her career to allow him to throw the body over the cliff. But he’s in on the con and later blackmails the star. Peter's friend, a theater director, asks him to figure out why Barbara is suddenly distracted while performing on stage, and to help solve her problem.

A refugee organization asks Peter to help crewman Stephen Vasa escape from his Iron Curtain comrades so he can join his wife in freedom in London. Vasa is being kept prisoner aboard a Russian trawler. Anticipating Peter, a trap is set to capture the Invisible Man when he tries to come aboard. His movements can be seen on an ingeniously developed radar screen, which reveals his invisibility.

Peter Brady and his sister Diane, go to Paris for holiday, only to find themselves in a tense drama. An atomic research station in England has been broken into, vital secrets photographed, and the microfilm smuggled out of the country. Diane’s suspicions are aroused at the airport customs’ examination when she spots a man splitting the lining of a mink coat belonging to an attractive woman. The Invisible Man must find the stolen microfilm to protect the British nation.

Peter Brady becomes a blind woman’s eyes when Katherine Holt’s pilot husband, Arthur, is the victim of a frame-up and is falsely accused of smuggling heroin into England. Arthur calls his friend Peter for help, but is shot and in critical condition by the time Brady reaches him. Katherine is the only “witness” to the attempted murder, but is unable to describe the man by sight. Peter assists Katherine to recount every movement, and fool the gunman into believing she can see and identify him.

Joe Green, a man with a criminal past, keeps escaping from prison to search for the pickpocket who can prove his innocence. He was chasing after the woman who stole his wallet when the police arrived and charged him with robbing a nearby safe. Peter reads about his case and decides to investigate. Meanwhile, the actual robbers think Joe's talking too much and arrange for a crook on the inside to shut him up for good.

When his niece Sally is kidnapped from school, Peter scrambles for a way to save her. When he's told that the only way to retrieve Sally safely is to rob the vault of a nearby bank, Peter has no choice but to use his invisibility to follow the crook's evil schemes. Once Sally's returned, Peter must find a way to recover the stolen money and put away the culprits.

Peter Brady finds that being the Invisible Man is a defense against detection from any human being, but not against a dog. A canine’s sense of smell is very nearly his undoing when he is tricked into visiting the home of Lucian Currie. Currie has waited fifteen years for his ailing co-business partner, Vickers, to pass on. Tired of waiting, he wants Peter to murder Vickers, so he can own their gold mine entirely. Peter must determine out to escape the vicious dog who is following him and thwart the murder.
