Nick's partner from his DEA days arrives in Key Mariah, with a small time criminal who can help bring down a drug lord who has recently opened his operations in Key Mariah. Complicating matters is Nick's old boss has arrived in Key Mariah & for some reason keeps trying to shut down the investigation.
S02:E02 - Mafia Mistress
Nick reconnects with Maria his old flame from High School. As the two rekindle their relationship it comes out that she is the mistress to a visiting mafia boss. Making matters worse, is the fact mob bosses wife is jealous, and wants her dead!

A local beauty contest turns deadly when the runner up accuses her opponent of cheating to win, and is then the chief suspect in her coach's murder. What seems like an open and shut case slowly becomes more complicated as it seems this case is also tied to a massive jewel theft.
S02:E04 - Dead Men Tell
An ancient pirate treasure is up for grabs, and when the Captain's curse starts taking victims, a young woman hires Nick and Sylvie to find her grandfather who has gone missing while searching for it.

A woman hires Nick and Sylvie to find her son. She suspects that her missing husband, a professional safe cracker, may have something to do with it. As Nick and Sylvie investigate, they're lead to believe that someone might be after the parents as well.

A Model hires Nick to stop a blackmailer who has some photos of her that she doesn't want to go public. But when he finds the blackmailer dead, Nick is left to investigate.
S02:E07 - Writer Wrong
When a locally renowned Jazz pianist is murdered, Nick wants to conduct an investigation. However, a headstrong author who wants to write a book about the case shadows Nick, creating a power struggle between the two of them.

A woman hires Nick to track down her sister who has stolen a highly dangerous poisonous substance from a lab.
S02:E09 - Sex, Lies, and Lullabies
A man named Gregory Pike contacts Nick and Sylvie, requesting that they search for information on a woman he finds himself romantically interested in. However, it quickly becomes clear that he has no interest in Nick as a detective as he focuses all of his attention to Sylvie. Mr. Pike's pursuance of her grows so insistent that Sylvie begins to believe she may be in danger.
S02:E10 - She
An old flame of Nick's shows up. Although she's the one who cost him his job with the DEA, Nick is willing to let bygones be bygones, until he realizes that suspicious deaths seem to have followed her to Key Mariah.
S02:E11 - Tara, Tara, Tara
Nick Slaughter, a disgraced former Canadian Mountie, and DEA Agent moves to the tropical island paradise of Key Mariah. Once there he starts his own Private Detective Agency, and meets Sylvie Girard, a local travel agent. Together they form a strong friendship and quite the detective team. However, the local police squad never make it easy for them luckily they have plenty of friends to help along the way. The Town of Key Mariah will never be the same again thanks to Nick Slaughter and company!

An insurance company hires Nick and Sylvie to investigate if the wife of a man recently found decapitated and the sole beneficiary of his life insurance, had something to do with it. Nick's friend Spider, the new Tropical Heat owner, is introduced.
S02:E16 - Alive and Kicking
While on a case Nick is shot by a drug dealer, luckily a woman happens upon & takes him to her house to tend to his wounds. While he has survived the bullet wound, it turns out his savior is actually insane & imprisons! She plans on keeping him captive, so she has someone to love her forever! As time passes Sylvie and Spider, worry & Nick's safety & try to find him.
S02:E17 - Tattooed Lady
A rape victim hires Nick and Sylvie to track down the man who violated her, a serial rapist who marks all of his victims with a tattoo.
S02:E18 - Users
A man hires Nick to protect his daughter who's involved with a dangerous arms dealer. However, it turns out that she was sent undercover to get close to the guy by a group who wants to stop the arms dealer and his trade.
S02:E19 - Frame Up
While on a date, Nick is drugged by an unknown person and is framed for a bank robbery and a double murder. Now it is a race against time to clear his name, before he is sent to jail!
S02:E20 - Going to the Dogs
Someone is trying to assassinate a club owner. Since he's a friend of Nick and Sylvie's, he asks the duo to check whether or not his biggest competitor has something to do with it.
S02:E21 - Dial 9 for Murder
Sylvie goes undercover to work at a telephone sex line company. One of the workers was murdered, and a potential suspect is calling the girls again.
