In the premiere episode of BEAUTY AND THE GEEK AUSTRALIA, our stunning beauties and academic geeks come together in the ultimate social experiment. But what will happen when we reverse the traditional Beauty and Geek roles and introduce our very first male Beauty and female Geek into the mix? Will the Beauties be distracted by the hot new boy, or will they build a strong partnership with their Geeks? And will the Geeks gravitate towards the new female Geek rather than putting themselves out of their comfort zones by getting to know their Beauties? Arriving at the Beauty and the Geek Australia mansion for the very first time, these two very different worlds will collide in spectacular fashion as the beauties and geeks choose their partners for the adventurous challenges ahead. This week, the beauties are tested on their knowledge of geography; while the geeks combine fashion and anatomy in a hilarious first challenge. In the second challenge, the shy geeks will have to come out of their shell when they’re pitted against a strong female roller derby team. Who will stand tall, and who will hit the floor? Posing as famous couples, from Adam and Eve to Antony and Cleopatra, is especially confronting for some couples. But who will rise to the difficult challenge, and who will fail to adapt? Those who show the biggest transformation in their pictures will get the chance to meet stylist Henry Roth for a special one-on-one makeover session. And all geeks will get the chance to practice their newfound social skills when they go on unique dates – with perfectly matched geeks of the opposite sex. What will the geeks do when given the opportunity to replace their beauties in the mansion with their dream dates for the rest of the competition? In this week’s episode of BEAUTY AND THE GEEK AUSTRALIA, the geeks are given an image overhaul with the help of an all-star makeover team. Celebrity stylist Henry Roth returns to oversee the remaining geeks’ new looks, from wardrobe right through to hair and grooming. But will their new outward appearance help improve their confidence? They’ll be put to the ultimate test in a ‘Full Monty’ style challenge in front of a screaming crowd. Meanwhile, the beauties take charge of a fantasy Superhero invented for them by their geeks. Who will have the right super powers to keep their team safe? And in a shock no-one saw coming, one beauty decides to exit the mansion. Will her geek be able to continue in the competition? In this week’s episode of BEAUTY AND THE GEEK AUSTRALIA, the beauties are in for a mathematics lesson with a farmyard twist. The beauties are tested on something they’ve been dreading the entire competition: mathematics. But this is maths with a farmyard twist: using numbered goats, sheep, and other farm animals the beauties must solve simple equations. The geeks face an equally troubling task when they’re put in charge of styling some special friends when the eliminated geeks return to the mansion for a makeover. Which geek will wax, tan, groom and dress their friend to impress the ladies? And in a unique twist to the weekly elimination, the two winning teams are given the power to nominate a previously eliminated couple to compete for a place back in the competition. In this week’s episode of BEAUTY AND THE GEEK AUSTRALIA, the geeks unleash their own unique take on the ‘London look’. The beauties must strut the catwalk confidently and embody their geek’s favourite London icon to impress guest judges Sonia Kruger and Jackie Frank. But they won’t only be judged on their catwalk abilities, but also how much they know about what they are representing - which ranges from the Queen to Big Ben. Meanwhile the geeks are confronted by something all are unfamiliar with: a naked woman. In this life drawing challenge the geeks believe they are being tested on their artistic skills, but are in fact being quizzed on their ability to listen to women, which is something all of them have struggled with in the past. Who will use their ears and not just their eyes to win the challenge? The winning teams will gain immunity and each nominate a team to go into the elimination room. In the final episode of BEAUTY AND THE GEEK AUSTRALIA, our remaining four teams knuckle down for some cram studying in hopes of scoring the best school report card. The beauties must compete in a Rocket Science test while the geeks must bake a cake that represents their beauty in a Home Economics test. Together they will then be marked on a Physical Education task that takes the form of a Synchronised Diving. Then the final three teams travel to the school formal, where a dance off will determine the final two teams who will go into the final elimination quiz. The winning team will walk home with the crown of Beauty and the Geek Australia winners and a $100,000 prize. Beauty and the Geek Australia is hosted by BERNARD CURRY.
