The Mystery of Room 602 (Véronique Pirotton Case): On October 31, 2013, Belgian politician Bernard Ouessfal rushed down the six flights of a hotel in Ostend where he had met up with his wife, Véronique, the day before. He had just found her unconscious on the bathroom floor with a mysterious plastic bag next to her. Despite the emergency rescue response, Véronique Pirotton died a few minutes later. For Bernard Ouessfal, there was no doubt: his wife, very psychologically unstable, had ended her life. But in this case, the investigators went from one surprise to another. And over the course of their discoveries, convictions would constantly alternate between one scenario and another: did Bernard Ouessfal, despite himself, cause the suicide of his wife? The Savage Murder of a Mother and her Daughter (Amato Case)- On March 31, 2003, firefighters were called to a fire in a housing estate of Meyrargues, near Aix-en-Provence. On site, they discovered a horrific scene: the tortured and charred bodies of a mother and her daughter, Chantal and Audrey D'Amato, aged 53 and 24 respectively. It would take almost 10 years for investigators to solve this incredible mystery and finally identify the murderer, in particular thanks to the intervention of one of the police force's first female criminal profilers.
