After an ordinary dinner, Pierre and Gabrielle Labrell suffer severe abdominal pains. Taken to hospital, the couple of quiet retirees die several days apart, after awful suffering. The food poisoning theory is quickly ruled out and forensic tests show the Labrells were poisoned with arsenic. The investigators finally see that the murderer tried to entrap them. But his strategy failed thanks to the police officers' intuition and technical expertise.

S03:E01 - Audrey Jouannet Case
September 16 2005. The lifeless body of Audrey Jouannet, 24, is found hidden under the bed in her small apartment in Soisy-sur-Seine. It soon becomes apparent that the young woman has been tortured at length before being strangled. But surprisingly, though the highly meticulous murderer has taken care to leave no sign of his passage, the autopsy reveals traces of sperm on the victim. It will take all of the investigators' intuition to pierce the mystery of this heinous crime...

Sylvain Dromard finds the body of his wife Laurence lying in a pool of blood in the kitchen. The crime was particularly violent and the theory of a burglary that went wrong is soon excluded. But investigators don't understand who could want the adorable hairdresser of Saint-Martin-d‘Ablois dead. During the investigation, the work of profilers will enable them to draw a very precise portrait of the murderer... But a shadow will continue to hover over this macabre case: that of a mysterious rival whose role could be central to the murder of Laurence Dromard.

The lifeless body of Christophe Lejard is found by his son just metres from their home. The man was shot in the head as he was getting into his car to go to work. A veritable execution, which at first glance doesn't square with the profile of the quiet family man. Yet behind the appearances, the investigation gradually reveals all the hate and resentment that revolved around the victim. And it's thanks to a tiny trace of DNA, sampled at the crime scene, that detectives finally manage to reconstruct the scenario of this Machiavellian assassination.

The teenager has been stabbed sixty times with a knife and –an extra sordid detail – a devil mask is found next to her body. Was Priscillia the victim of a prowler? A serial killer? A maniac inspired by a horror movie? Investigators soon find that the young girl felt she was being watched, and even threatened...
S03:E09 - The Mathilde Croguenne Case
In the early hours of the morning, Mathilde Croguennec, 18, attending "Teknival" in Brittany, is found at the foot of a tree with her throat cut. Investigators face the task of finding the killer from among the 43,000 participants of this huge open-air festival of electronic music, where drink and drugs are consumed in abundance. An unusual investigation that leads the police down a number of false avenues.
S03:E10 - The Jean-Raymond Blatti Case
Arriving at her work, the secretary of a small firm in the suburbs of Geneva finds the body of Jean-Raymond Blatti, the company's new accountant. The man is lying in a pool of blood and, on his belly, the murderer has written "DIRTY RAPIST". Yet Jean-Raymond Blatti was never charged with sexual assault. Over the course of the investigation, this inscription will appear as one of the many mysteries of this case which is particularly rich in twists and turns.
