Season 2 Episode 9 - The Games
Tribune seeks refuge at the explorers' treehouse from Empress Centuria and her legion of Lizardmen. The reptilian soldier track him down at their haven and take him prisoner, along with Malone, Marguerite, and Roxton. The captives are taken to Centuria's city, where Malone--posing as Challenger--is ordered to make gunpowder for her troops while Roxton and Tribune are sent to the Gladiators' Arena.

Season 2
S02:E01 - All or Nothing
A fearsome battle has erupted between Drakul and the betrayed Tribune. In an attempt to avoid being trapped in their crosshairs, the adventurers attempt to cross a bridge spanning a deep gorge, but a bomb sends Summerlee into the depth below. Marguerite and Veronica mount a search to track down and hopefully save their friend. Tribune has rescued Roxton from death, but he demands a favor in kind. When they follow Tribune to a dilapidating fishing village for him to only disappear, the adventures clash with Nemak over his enslavement of the town.
S02:E02 - Amazons
While on expedition for a route off the plateau, Roxton, Malone, and Challenger encounter an Amazon woman defending herself from an attacking Deinonychus. After the men come to her aide, Challenger suffers serious wounds. When the woman and her cohort invite the men to their village so his wounds can be tended, they receive a warm welcome. In time, they learn that it is time for the breeding ritual--and that they will serve as studs. Their excitement is soon tamped down when they discover that their lives will end once they have serve their purpose.
S02:E03 - Tourist Season
In an attempt to generate electricity, Professor Challenger constructs a windmill. But when a storm causes a ball of lighting to strike the generator, a mysterious opening emerges in the sky. A helicopter appears overhead and crash lands nearby, including the onboard survivors--a family of tourists from the 21st century. While the adventurers take in these new guests and contemplate the possibility of time travel, Marguerite and a hostile tribe both vie to make the helicopter their own.
S02:E04 - Stone Cold
While on a research expedition, Roxton is startled by a terrified young woman garbed in opulent evening wear. The woman passes away, and the mystery of her appearance leads Roxton, Marguerite, and Malone to a strange castle, where an ominous rainstorm drives them inside. Inside the gothic mansion, a strange spirit takes hold of the three adventurers, guiding them to their own elegant new wardrobes and entangling them in a strange love triangle. Challenger and Veronica are likewise driven towards the castle, where they encounter their cohort and their macabre new personalities.
S02:E05 - Divine Right
A horse without a rider seems to intentionally find and approach the explorers. Roxton takes the mount, but the horse leads and carries him to a mountain tribe that welcomes him as king. Despite Roxton's refusals, the tribes folk and their powerful advisor, Balar, insist that Roxton take the throne...or be killed as an imposter. Roxton tries to send a warning to his cohort, but Balar undermines his plan and captures the adventurers while commencing a tribal custom to sacrifice a virgin to a monstrous dragon.
S02:E06 - Skin Deep
The suspicions of the group are stirred when Marguerite suddenly starts acting uncharacteristically kind. Meanwhile, a bizarrely sluggish dinosaur in the jungle likewise rouses the curiosities of Roxton and Veronica. An alien invader is discovered trying to control the dinosaur's body, shedding light on the mystery of Marguerite's behavior. The group must fight against this invading skeletal race in order to save their friend and the other creatures of the jungle.
S02:E07 - London Calling
The explorers discover a map revealing a way off the plateau and out of the Lost World. The group makes their preparations to leave, packing whatever evidence of their findings they can, but Veronica knows she must stay to continue her search for her parents. Despite Nelson's uncertainties about going back, they follow the route outlined in the ancient map and emerge on an ocean coast. While it appears that they have finally found their way back home, not all is what it seems.
S02:E08 - The Prisoner
Veronica meets a mysterious shape-shifter in the guise of an old women, who tells her that her parents are alive and safe in a place called El Dorado. After giving her directions to find them, she tells her that she can tell no one and never return. But when Veronica unwittingly releases a savage giant from captivity, the others must subdue hime once again with a plan that includes Marguerite's seductive allure. A pair of mysterious strangers try to dissuade Veronica from following the shape-shifter and help the group rescue her from deception.
S02:E09 - The Games

S02:E10 - The Source
The Lost World and its inhabitants are plagued by a severe drought. When a pack of hungry, thirsty raptors attack the explorers, a beautiful young woman named Ana comes to their aid. She hopes that, in return, they will escort her back to her pueblo. Ana falls weak, however, and confesses that she and her ancient colony had discovered the Fountain of Youth and her supply is now diminishing. Ana must return to the Fountain, and Marguerite -- her interest in the Fountain piqued -- coaxes the others to follow.
S02:E11 - Trophies
Veronica becomes the target of trophy hunters after she rescues a Troglodyte child from their gunfire. Veronica rushes back to the treehouse to warn the others, but one of the hunters claims that their party had been commissioned to locate Challenger and escort him back to England. The hunters set up camp near the treehouse, but their story dissolves when their motives appear to change and they take Veronica away as a captured creature.
S02:E12 - Voodoo Queen
A mysterious drumbeat echoes through the forest as a beautiful stranger begins to follow Roxton. The woman, Danielle, and her village were victims of a Trog attack, and she seeks refuge at the treehouse. Though she has charmed the male explorers, Marguerite and Victoria remain suspicious of her. Their judgment proves correct when Danielle fashions a voodoo doll after Roxton, and uses it to cast a spell that lures him back to her village where she control both the Trogs and an army of zombies.
S02:E13 - The Guardian
While gathering herbs, Challenger inadvertently falls into a trap set by young hunters. The child-hunters take Challenger to their village, a hidden camp populated by orphans. Veronica and Marguerite track Challenger and his captors to their village, where they discover that its orphans are protected by a carnivorous plant that emits poisonous gases. The group must escape before Challenger becomes the plant's next meal.
S02:E14 - Under Pressure
A strange but handsome visitor named Alex arrives at the treehouse, seeking Challenger's assistance in finding the source of the Amazon. Alex impresses Challenger with his Oxford credentials and charms Marguerite and Victoria. But while sparks fly between the women, Alex seems most interested in Challenger's electrostatic accumulator, a device that becomes targeted by outsiders. An underground cave-dweller attempts to sabotage the machine, but when the explorers pursue him, they discover that their new acquaintance carries a burning secret.
S02:E15 - The Outlaw
Roxton and Marguerite discover a fissure that they hope may offer a way through the mountains and off the plateau. But when they enter the crevice, the path leads them to a blinding light and an entirely new corner of the Lost World. On the other side of the mountain lies a mysterious reflection of sunlight and an English-style town. Just as Roxton and Marguerite approach the village, a masked bandit robs the local pub and an unfortunate series of events leads to the explorers' arrest. A botched escape plan leaves Roxton with a potentially fatal gunshot wound.
S02:E16 - Quality of Mercy
While exploring the jungle, some of the explorers encounter distressed strangers that bear a resemblance to Veronica and Malone. When the strangers' pursuers track them down, Veronica and Malone are taken captive by these mysterious entities with powerful weapons. At the order of their alien leader, Malone and Veronica are taken to a labor camp where they are forced to obey mechanical wardens and work for alien overlords to repair their spacecraft.
S02:E17 - Mark of the Beast
After the treehouse is raided by a monkey, Roxton and Marguerite track the culprit to a cave. There, they discover a strange amulet that marks them with a tattoo of a dinosaur skull. This imprint seems to provoke some primal instincts from the explorers as they morph into their more beast-like selves. Overcome by a power that science can't explain, the group begins to exhibit heightened senses, new tastes, and animal urges.
S02:E18 - Survivors
Marguerite and Challenger enter an ancient Temple laden with traps and mystical protections. After Marguerite falls into a pit of spikes, Challenger must leave her to get help. With her injuries come vivid hallucinations, and the carved warriors that guard the Temple come to life. These guardians attack the others when they arrive to rescue Marguerite, but stop suddenly when Malone suffers a wound to his chest. While Veronica takes Malone home, Roxton and Challenger go to Marguerite and discover that they, too, can see her hallucination.
S02:E19 - The Pirate's Curse
At the brink of an intimate moment, a seismic shift sends Marguerite and Roxton to the bottom of a pit. There, they discover that a pirate from a bygone era left behind his bones and his treasure. The booty instantly attracts Marguerite, and not even warnings of a curse deter her from taking the newly discovered fortune back to the treehouse. Malone and Challenger research the story written in the pirate's journal, leading them to an inland sea and an ambush led by the pirate's own descendent.
S02:E20 - The Visitor
While out in the jungle, Malone is unexpectedly gashed by a wild beast. He and Veronica attempt to track down the animal that wounded him, but instead encounter Danu, her childhood sweetheart. Danu is himself wounded and he tells them of the grave danger posed by this beast, and they takes him back to the treehouse to recover. That evening, a loud howl rouses the group, and they discover Danu is missing and Malone has become ill. Veronica takes the explorer's to Danu's village, where they discover that only a witchdoctor and a few warrior remain. They learn that Danu has become a werewolf, and that Malone may soon be transformed as well. While Veronica sets off for the treehouse with medicine for Malone, Roxton and Challenger track down Danu. But Danu has a plan of his own, and tries to lure Veronica to the Valley of Shadows so that he might transform her into a werewolf like him.
S02:E21 - A Man of Vision
A tumultuous thunderstorm brings with it a haunting vision of the explorers' old companion, Summerlee. Malone sets out after the ghost of the friend they saw disappear into a waterfall. Challenger, Roxton, and Marguerite follow close behind until they are ambushed by cannibals with an appetite for Marguerite. While Roxton, Challenger, and Marguerite face constant danger, Malone continues his pursuit of Summerlee, even when he falls and suffers a concussion.
S02:E22 - Into the Fire
A British Navy dirigible flies just over the plateau, low enough that Malone is able to grab hold of its boarding ladder. Hoisting himself into the airship, he finds a wrecked scene without a crew. While Malone investigates the logbook, Captain Askwith approaches from behind to knock him unconscious. After outwitting a T-Rex, the other explorers expect to rescue Malone from the airship but find only Askwith, who denies ever seeing their friend. The Captain wins over Marguerite with his charm, but a jealous Roxton remain suspicious even when they escort Askwith and his airship back to the treehouse and discover that it may still be capable of flying off the plateau.
