Season 3 Episode 13 - Phantoms
Veronica is drawn through the jungle by the sound of mysterious piano music. Passing though a layer of mist, she emerges in a village from previous century. There, she finds that the source of the music is a handsome gentleman named Thomas Ducart. When he tells her that he wrote the piano piece for her, she becomes instantly taken. Veronica brings Thomas back to the Treehouse, but despite her growing feelings, Challenger expressed concerns about her involvement with the handsome stranger. Thomas may prove to be more dangerous than Veronica could have imagined.

S03:E01 - Out of the Blue
The explorers find themselves trapped aboard a ghost ship, reliving out its fatal course through a thunderstorm. Veronica escapes from its fiery crash, but Marguerite, Roxton, and Challenger remain trapped aboard. They find that rather than dying, they have taken the place of Askwith and his crew. Destined to repeat the dirigible's fatal voyage forever, they are transported to a 1915 British air station on the eve of the ship's departure. Now, the trapped adventurers must find a way to return to the plateau -- the place they once yearned to escape -- while Veronica pursues Askwith to demand answers.
S03:E02 - The Travelers
A search for Malone goes awry when Marguerite and Roxton part ways only to be ambushed by cannibals. Marguerite is rescued by three travelers in 17th century garb, led by the charming Francois Lake...on a horse that leaves no hoof-prints. While in their company, the trio promise Marguerite a lavish lifestyle of travel, riches, and--most importantly--a way off the plateau. Roxton, Challenger, and Veronica carry out a search for the disappeared Marguerite, only to receive a ransom letter demanding Marguerite's jewels. While the remaining resident's of the treehouse hold on to their suspicions about the nature of the ransom and Marguerite's captors, even Malone delivers a warning from another realm. But when Roxton and the others go to rescue Marguerite, it appears that she has joined their ranks. Could she and the others be tricked by their own desires?
S03:E03 - Eye for an Eye
Roxton discovers a dinosaur bone yard contains more than mere remains. After killing a Triceratops that could have otherwise been evaded and allowed to live, Roxton encounters a beautiful creature named Oseena, a mystical being who is half-woman and half-dinosaur. The bone yard that he had wandered into is in fact sacred ground, and Oseena believes he must be punished for the needless taking of life. Her curse on Roxton makes him the prey of a shadowy predator, and his cohort are trapped in the crosshairs. Now, he and the others must escape the hunter, but the threat proves difficult to outmaneuver when Roxton discovers an astonishing similarity between himself and his pursuer. Meanwhile, Veronica and the others continue to hope for Malone's return.
S03:E04 - True Spirit
Much of the group has come to accept that Malone died in the Navy Ghost ship...except Veronica. After a vivid nightmare, she begins to believe that Malone is speaking to her from a spirit realm. Convinced that he is reaching out for help from an unseen world, Veronica worries her friends until Marguerite suggests that they use a ouija board to communicate with the lost Malone. Meanwhile, Roxton and Challenger go with Assai to investigate athe appearance of a mysterious crop circle that Assai believe to be the mark of Saros, a bloodthirsty warlord.
S03:E05 - The Knife
While fighting a T-Rex, Malone and Challenger discover a strange campsite with a macabre raptor display. When Malone picks up a nearby knife, he suddenly becomes John Netley, a coachman in 1888 East End suspected to be infamous serial murderer Jack the Ripper. Challenger suggests that Malone's time in the spirit world has given him psychic abilities, giving him insights at the touch of an object. Back at the treehouse, a stranger appears and may be the notorious owner of the knife. Believing that Jack the Ripper may be at large on the plateau, Challenger encourages Malone to use his new abilities to solve the age-old mystery, and Malone envisions his friends as the historical conspirators and victims in the case.
S03:E06 - Fire in the Sky
Challenger, Malone, and Veronica cross paths with an injured stranger pursued by a band of nomads. As they attempt to outrun the barrage of arrows, the dying man issues a final ultimate: find Pierson Rice in two days, or else. Though the stranger couldn't finish his message, Challenger recognizes the name as that belonging to the renowned hunter and Roxton's former mentor, thought lost for nearly a decade. When Roxton receives word of Rice's presence on the plateau, the news provokes harrowing memories of his brother's death.
S03:E07 - Dead Man's Hill
Marguerite and Roxton discover a strange corner of the jungle, where a hangman's noose dangles from a tree and a tombstone marks the grave of one J. Roxton, died 1875. Suddenly, Roxton himself is transported to the wild west, where Challenger is a cruel lawman, Marguerite is a lone frontier woman, Malone is a gunslinging bounty hunter, and Veronica is a trade post owner with a shotgun. While Roxton tries to avoid Challenger's bullets, he must wake his friends up to the real identities in order to escape this bizarre parallel reality.
S03:E08 - Hollow Victory
Challenger gives the hot air balloon an upgrade that gives it extra lift. The explorers' go along for a test ride, but are sucked into a torrential storm of ionic winds. When the the balloon emerges from the storm cloud, they find themselves below ground level in an underground cavern. Connected to an extinct volcano, this subterranean world is home to new species of dinosaurs, fresh dangers, and a beautiful warrior named Alece. Challenger must find a way to restore the balloon and renew the iron-based fuel supply, while the group tries to survive this hostile environment with limited oxygen.
S03:E09 - A Witch's Calling
While Veronica remains missing, a coven of witches plot to destroy Challenger when their leader, Dame Alice, finds his science a threat to her sorcery. Her gorgeous student acolytes lure Roxton and Malone to the witch's castle while Alice herself face off with the "wizard" Challenger. Marguerite tries to warn Challenger against engaging with Dame Alice, but Challenger's curiosity gets the better of him. With the men seduced into lowering their guards, Marguerite must act quickly to save them.
S03:E10 - Brothers in Arms
After Keeran Raiders attack, Malone is struck by a poison dart that conjures long suppressed memories of his time as a battlefield correspondent in World War I. Malone's hallucinations force him to relive life behind enemy lines, when the soldiers he accompanied were killed in battle and he--the journalist--had to bear arms to protect himself and a wounded sergeant. Meanwhile, Marguerite and Roxton try to strike back against the Raiders and administer an antidote to Malone.
S03:E11 - Ice Age
A strange meteor strikes the plateau, and the explorers set out to investigate the site of impact. As they near the meteorite, they notice the air becoming colder and colder. At the site of the crater they find a blue-skinned woman, unconscious and freezing to the touch. They bring her back to the treehouse with intentions of nursing her back to health, only later realizing that she may be member to an alien race of cold-blooded humanoids. As the plateau is threatened by an all-encompassing chill, the explorers are targeted by the woman's followers, who are intent of retrieving their queen.
S03:E12 - The End Game
The seemingly invincible Roxton comes face to face with Death when the Grim Reaper, determined to claim his soul. Trapping him in the jungle, the beautiful and seductive Death challenges Roxton to play for his life in a series of games. To raise the stakes, Death puts not only Roxton's soul but his friends' souls on the line. In order to keep himself, Marguerite, Challenger, and the recently-returned Veronica alive, Roxton must beat death one more time.
S03:E13 - Phantoms

S03:E14 - The Secret
A stranger attacks Veronica, knocking her unconscious and leaving behind a white tile with a mysterious insignia. While Roxton takes Veronica to the treehouse, Marguerite is sure to cover up the tile--an artifact that she recognizes as the calling card of a dangerous character from her past. Marguerite must reconcile with the dark secrets of her former life before they endanger her and her friends.
S03:E15 - Finn
When Challenger constructs an experimental machine that harnesses the plateau's energy lines, the explorers hope that they have found a way back to London. The device may prove dangerous, but finding a way out of the Lost World seems worth the risk. After their test run lands them in the they same place that they started, they assume failure and return to the Treehouse--only to find that it's not there. When Roxton is abducted by an armed tribe of slavers, they discover that the machine has sent them not across space, but time--placing them about 100 years in the future. While the explorers discover the truth about this new apocalyptic landscape, they meet a woman named Finn who tries to join their return trip back to the 20th century.
S03:E16 - Suspicion
A team of archeologists discover a burial urn, but the discovery becomes dangerous when one of the student explorers suffers convulsions and illness after she opens the artifact. The leader of the expedition suspects urn's skeletal remains may have transmitted an ancient diseases, but an inscription warns that an evil demon is imprisoned within. When Roxton and Marguerite discover death and chaos when they happen upon the archeologists' campsite, they must intervene and deescalate the rival professors before their suspicions turns to more violence.
S03:E17 - The Imposters
The explorers and Finn search a cave in hopes of finding a portal that can cross dimensions. But once inside, an ghostly visage appears that sends Finn running. Marguerite, Roxton, and Challenger are unable to escape the glowing apparition, and are replaced by three spirits escaped from a world of darkness. Should they remain on the Plateau in the explorers' places, they will usher in a wave of chaos and destruction upon the world. Finn must find a way to save her friends, or else risk the future of humankind.
S03:E18 - The Elixir
Challenger takes on the problem of food shortages by inventing a nutritional elixir that would eliminate world hunger. He decides to become his own human subject and test the concoction himself, but an unintended side effect causes him to experience vivid hallucinations. An apparition of his younger self appears in his lab, urging the older professor to shun his comrades and pursue glory at any cost. That night, Challenger's wife comes to his bedside to challenge the importance of his work. As Challenger 's visions become increasingly dangerous, his friends must master the science behind his elixir in order to find an antidote.
S03:E19 - Tapestry
Challenger and Finn discover the wreckage of a World War I transport plane, and with it the pilot that has been guarding its cargo for the last five years. The pilot, Lt. Drummond, takes Challenger captive, but they discover that their lives are connected in unexpected ways. Challenger, Roxton, and Marguerite are all forced to recall old memories and secrets from five years earlier, each connected to the stranded Lieutenant and his cargo of stolen iridium ingots.
S03:E20 - Legacy
Led by a dream, Veronica uses her mother's pendant as a guide to find her parents. She finds herself at the site of a stone monolith with strange carvings, and discovers that the pendant fits like a key into one of the etchings. A blast of energy surges from the stone, causing Veronica to recall new memories of her last day with her family. Meanwhile, an old enemy of Marguerite's returns to the plateau, armed with a mystical pendant that gives him new powers.
S03:E21 - Trapped
Jungle exploration puts Marguerite and Roxton in peril when an explosion leaves them trapped in an underground cavern. Their only hope to escape is Challenger...who was also injured in the explosion, leaving him with amnesia. With Challenger's memory of who he is and where his friends are erased from his mind, Marguerite and Roxton are left to fear for their lives and confront their feelings. Meanwhile, Finn helps Veronica uncover another piece of her past.
S03:E22 - Heart of the Storm
In the final chapter of Lost World, the plateau itself is threatened. A rift in time and space collides with the explorers, as Finn and Veronica are briefly transported into a post-apocalyptic future while Roxton out runs 17th-century Conquistadors and Marguerite is captured by Druids as a human sacrifice. An ominous storm approaches the plateau and threatens all its inhabitants, and Veronica realizes that she must become its Protector. In attempting to fulfill her destiny, she taps into the power of her mother's pendant--the Trion, but her sacrifice could potentially destroy the plateau rather than save it.
