March 1995 - when a skull is found at Botany Beach the police, crime scene examiners and the forensic pathologist, among other specialists, were brought to the scene. After a number of painstaking hours, a whole skeleton packed with sand and covered with a polyester cardigan was removed and taken to the morgue.

In April of 1999, Maya Jakic's body was found covered under leaves and hidden in bushes out the front of an unused Adelaide police patrol station. She was found because a note was placed on a police car suggesting they check the bushes for a dead woman, 'and it was no joke'.
