Sedai Wars

Near-future Japan. As the economy has kept collapsing, each generation blames all their bad luck and misfortune on others. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Naoki Ando suddenly announced that he will return the government to the people and hold "Sedai Wars", a battle to determine the first president of Japan. Two people were chosen to represent each generation - War-survivors, Baby-boomers, Generation X, the Lost generation, the Stress-free generation and Millennials. Low-key boy Satoru Kashiwagi works at the travel agency "Sun Tourist" and was chosen on behalf of the Stress-free Generation.

“Sedai Wars” a battle where 10 people were chosen from each generation to fight at a VR field. Since a new president will be born from the battle, all citizens are curious about it. Finally, “Sedai Wars” has started. Each participant’s spirit and courage will determine the outcome. Though they are confused at the beginning of the battle, they are awakened one by one, and start using their original moves. The pride of their generations and complaints to other generations set their hearts on fire. Intense conflicts continued, and finally, the first loser was determined...

“Sedai Wars” had started with 10 people from each of the generations, and 4 contestants have been eliminated. The second half will be held 3 days later with the remaining 6 participants. The 6 winners became the talk of the town, but they didn’t have any time to celebrate. On the other hand, harsh realities waited for the losers as “traitors to the generation”. Pin-up girl Moe Saijo from the millennial generation is bullied in high school and single office worker Yuko Shirai is exhausted with working and nursing.

The 6 representatives gathered in the VR field and the second half of “Sedai Wars” started. As they got to know how to fight in the first half, they battle much harder. However, only Satoru Kashiwagi is passive in the battle and ask if they can get along with each other. In spite of his will, the rest of participants keep battling. Eventually, Shigeru Yamao from the Baby-boomer generation defeated all the others and “Sedai Wars” ended. Prime Minister Naoki Ando believed that his duty was done and...

Half a year has passed since Shigeru Yamao assumed the presidency as a result of “Sedai Wars”. Although Shigeru had aimed for the rebirth of Japanese working very hard with his pride of his generation, people exploded with anger for having no day off. “Sedai Wars” was supposed to bring a new generation to Japan, but Shigeru easily lost his position of president. Afterwards, news that a new round of “Sedai Wars” will take place was revealed. It made citizens happy. However, Satoru wonders who decided to re-stage the “Sedai Wars”.

The mastermind behind “Sedai Wars” has been revealed! The participants, including Satoru, are forcibly transferred to the VR field by the mastermind who tries to trap them there. Meanwhile, Satoru realized that they can escape if they defeat GEN, an avatar of the mastermind. GEN grows huge and begins to rampage, but they don’t give up the fight against it. Will they beat GEN and be able to come back to the real world...?
