A fiftieth birthday party fro Gerard Gault turns out to be more than anyone bargained for when he is discovered dead amongst his cactus collection the next morning.
S02:E03 - Skin Deep
A Cosmetic surgeon is bizarrely mutilated and murdered in his operating theatre. A biblical reference is smeared in his blood on the wall. It is a death which shocks even our hardened investigative team.
S02:E04 - Fatal Charm
The team is up early this crisp Saturday morning. In the back streets of the city the first rays of sunlight are fighting their way into the gloom, where a charred and twisted body is testimony to a fatal Friday night. The fire makes identification difficult at first. Tootsie determines it is a young female, probably a teenager, killed by a blow to the head before being doused with petrol and ignited.

A young woman is electrocuted by her twin brother's robot. The investigation leads Tessa and Steve into a bizarre tangle of relationships.
S02:E06 - Cold Comfort
The body of a beautiful young woman, victim of a hit and run accident, is delivered to the morgue. Tootsie arrives shortly afterwards to discover the body is missing and her new morgue clerk, Ziggy Felden, has been murdered.
S02:E07 - Murder in Reverse
The body of a woman is found in a sea of broken mannequins in a local dump. The woman is identified as Eva Blanfield who lives in a wealth suburb. When they inform her husband, Ian, of his wife’s fate, he claims she had been the victim of a kidnapping. The ransom note threatened to kill her if he contacted the police. He is distraught as he has paid the money, but his wife is dead.
S02:E08 - More Than Meets the Eye
The gruesome find of a severed arm wrapped in plastic draws Tessa and Steve into a case that takes them through the dark storm water tunnels of the city and sends them both home with nightmares.
S02:E09 - Dead Fall
Tessa and Steve respond to a murder call only to find no body, no crime scene and they, they suppose, no murder; until they discover that the identity of the eyewitness to the murder is none other that their boss, Inspector Malcolm Thorne.

S02:E13 - A Dress to Die For
When the detectives from the Homicide Unit attend the extravagant costume hire shop “Dresses to Die For”, they find the shop’s young security guard/delivery boy, Reuben O’Rouke, dead from a blow to the back of the head. Bizarrely, he has been propped inside an elaborate Queen Elizabeth I (the Virgin Queen) costume. Is it a misadventure, a crime of passion, or a none-too-subtle message to the costume shop’s proprietors to withdraw from the upcoming Frock of the Year contest?
S02:E14 - Menu for Murder
El Mar. A middle of the road, seafood restaurant. Nothing special about it, except that tonight, a well known food writer and bon vivant, Roberta McKinnon, is dining here with her toyboy. At another table, apparently by coincidence, are her estranged husband and his ladyfriend. And except that tonight, Roberta McKinnon dies.
S02:E15 - Cry Wolf
A woman is murdered in a block of flats. Tessa and Steve wonder why she called the police out twice but not a third time. Tessa fears the woman was murdered because she was afraid of crying wolf.
S02:E16 - A View to Kill
A sneak preview of a new exhibition at the “Maritime Historical & Conservation Museum” ends with a bizarre twist when the curator is found dead in one of the boat’s, an iron grapnel protruding from a chest wound and a captain’s hat perched on his head.
S02:E17 - Blowing the Whistle
Most murders take place away from the public eye, but when the referee of a women’s fame of soccer is murdered in full view of a hundred people, our Detectives are puzzled when they have no eyewitnesses.
S02:E18 - Instrument of Death
The Klein String Quartet is a hotbed of passions and hatreds. When it’s founder and first violinist, Hugo Klein is found macabrely murdered, the other three members come under Steve and Tessa’s spotlight.
S02:E19 - Bone Dead
Fifteen years ago, a detective constable names Malcolm Thorne joined the Homicide Squad. The first major case he was assigned to involved three murders which occurred over several weeks. They were particularly horrific, frenzied razor attacks
S02:E20 - Mix ‘N Match
A businessman, Brian Hart, missed his usual train to work.Taking a seat on a later train he is met by a woman he obviously knows. An argument follows.
