Right in time for the holidays, Kev and Lip steal a load of meat from a truck to sell at the Jockey. Unfortunately, the truck happens to belong to the army.

Frank's father arrives at the Gallaghers' to meet the new additions to the family. Meanwhile, Veronica feels threatened when Karen returns and gets a job working alongside Kev.

Kev and Veronica scramble to prepare themselves for a trial week fostering a little boy named Eric. Determined to be a good dad, Kev takes drastic action when he learns that Eric's being bullied.

Kev's sister needs a place to stay after ditching her junkie boyfriend and Veronica is not pleased. Craig's wife Sue dates Marty to get back at Craig, unaware that she's playing with fire.
