Five teams arrive to meet Scotty at a fake Channel Nine office. They learn they will all be contestants and there will be no eliminations. They're also shocked to know that they're on The Block.

Asbestos has been found in the building so while its safely removed from the site the teams head to HQ. Simon and Shannon are pulled over by police on their way to HQ - they ran a red light

The pressure of room delivery fast approaching is getting to all the teams and the teams get busy. Keith helps Max and Karstan by tarping up their exposed window while they go shopping together.

Simon and Shannon do more damage to one of the Suzukis - that's two crashes in two cars in two days, by two brothers. For the first time on The Block, a room isn't complete.

Max has to give their cabinet maker his marching orders and Karstan finds it difficult to see him leave.

Keith isn't happy when he finds all the mess downstairs. He calls another safety briefing with Safety Cam. The contestants aren't happy, especially when it comes time to clean it all up.

Scotty arrives with some house warming presents for all the teams - kitchen items. When the gifts are opened they discover there's a challenge.

Chris and Jenna have their first fight. Karstan receives the news that two of his mining colleagues were killed when a mine collapsed in NSW.

The main bathrooms are due for completion and there's a huge amount of works for all the teams to get through

The contestants inspect each other's main bathrooms and give their scores out of ten. Keith and his builders are demolishing walls in Simon and Shannon's area so the boys relax over a coffee.

All the contestants take time out to visit an ice bar for Max's 25th birthday and they all enjoy a few drinks. There are a few tired sore heads the next morning

Scotty calls all the team to a meeting in the basement of the building and announces that they'll all be building and setting up a Block Shop Pop Up Store

Max and Karstan's unique floor is poured and everyone is keen to check out the product. Everyone has different ideas about the pop-up shop.

So far the teams have been renovating for four weeks and this week, two rooms and a hallway has almost sent some of the teams over the edge.

The master bedroom is due in a week's time and all the teams are trying to bring something unique to give them the winning edge with the judges.

Progress is slow in the pop-up shop. Shelley Craft gives the teams a chance to win 5000 dollars cash with a challenge at Melbourne Poytechni.

The pop up shop is very slow to progress until Michael starts the building work and Dee organises her merchandiser friend Carissa to call a meeting.

Michael and Carlene aren't getting on well after Michael's afternoon at the pub. Karstan cuts his head on site and Keith takes him to the medical centre for stitches.

The master bedrooms and walk in robes are completed and ready for delivery. But just a few minutes before Scotty calls tools down there's a family emergency for Darren and Dee.

The jury votes and Simon and Shannon's strategy to score the other teams very low pay off. Their move doesn't impress the other teams.

Dee isn't happy about the placement of some of Max and Karstan's pieces - she wants them moved and Karstan thinks she's being petty.

Phillip Island plays host to the teams for a go-kart race around a replica of the course. Michael says it's the best day of his life.

Karstan works in his secret room which is still a secret that no one has discovered. They need to find some money to finish the room since they've been given no budget for the room.

Darren and Dee struggle when they discover they won't finish their stairs.

There is no jury vote this week because Scotty has organised for some prospective buyers to vote for their favourite apartment so far.

Keith is forced to get involved in the flooring decision at Chris and Jenna's so they retaliate by calling their space a Keith free zone.

Some of the teams are ahead but Simon and Shannon have been forced to change their whole kitchen design.

Simon tells Safety Cam that he's got a ticket to use a scissor lift. He hasn't bought his ticket with him from Coffs Harbour so only their builder Moz can operate the lift.

Dee is very disappointed and feels like all her hard work is going unnoticed.

The jury votes once again and Chris and Jenna take out the win with $5000 cash for their renovations.

All the teams enjoy an afternoon off with a long lunch at a pub where the truth comes out. Jenna tells Carlene that she hates her garden.

Jenna and Chris give the wrong delivery details to their furniture supplier and their sofa goes to The Block instead of the old woodshed where the challenge is taking place.

The audit takes place and Scotty and his helpers crunch the numbers to make sure everyone is paying all their trades correctly.

Chris and Jenna are very disillusioned by the judges' comments.

The teams inspect each other's living and dining rooms.

Keith discovers that it is in fact a fuel tank underground is full of diesel fuel so they decide the best way to make it safe is to empty all the fuel and fill the old tank with cement.

Shannon wears a T-shirt that says, I don't know where Simon is, thinking it will save him time since people are constantly asking where his brother is on site.

Simon and Shannon take the Reno Replay challenge by just half a point ahead of Dee and Darren. They think it the most important challenge to win because all their trades will be paid for this week.

The boys enjoy a game of footy in a private box with Scotty. Chris and Jenna's glazier can't get their mirror installed on time, because Chris has given him the wrong day for delivery.

The jury votes and they must vote separately this week.

Scotty announces that the winning team will go straight to Crown Metropole and stay at a high roller luxury room for the night.

The contestants are waiting for waterproofing to dry and then roofs to be removed from their terraces so they can't make much progress until the scaffolds have been removed.

Keith and Michael and Darren can't agree on who should deal with the huge gap between the terrace windows and roofs.

Jenna and Chris are struggling to finish, they have the largest terrace as well as a rooftop terrace and it's not just going to happen for them in time for tools down.

Choosing rooms in apartment 6 proves to be difficult so all the rooms go into a hat.

Week one of renovating apartment 6 gets into full swing with the first five rooms. Everyone wants a piece of the prize, money off their reserve.

Tonight as the renovations of apartment 6 continues, the stairwells need to be installed. This means the scaffolding has to come down

It's a huge couple of days on The Block for the final challenge. With just a few thousand dollars between most auction results, every cent makes the difference.

The judges head to The Block and the teams head to headquarters. The judges don't know who has renovated each room and they struggle to guess with clues in each room from all the couples.

It's the final week on The Block Final Challenge and Dee and Darren's kitchen is on a very tight deadline. The Good Guys say they need four days to install their kitchen

With less than 48 hours to go before the room reveal, the boys are forced to stop working on their rooftop terrace. The rain has made the space too dangerous to work on the rooftop

There are just 26 hours until the final reveal of apartment 6. Overnight the brothers have layer almost 40 square metres of tiles and built a wall all the way around their rooftop terrace.
