After losing on a TV talent show, four young women decide to form a band, but not before taking revenge on a sleazy impostor who passed himself off as a record A&R man.

Flo must choose between living with her boyfriend or moving in with the band in a shabby former nightclub.

The women land a gig as the support band for Neve's boyfriend's group, the Kicks, but a preconcert game to help calm their nerves results in their missing a sound check.

The women audition for a music manager, giving a great performance, but he's only interested in signing one of them, which leads to a big argument.
