Caroline spends the day quashing rumors about her night at Guy's flat, while Guy unquashes them. If only she had something over him. But he won't blurt out a dark secret, will he?

Joanna worries about her age. Who wouldn't, at her age? Her dangerous liaison with Alan Statham is becoming tedious, she demands spontaneity. He agrees to think about it.

Martin is desperate (not just generally, although that's obviously still the case). He's worried that he hasn't got anything to wear to Caroline's housewarming party.
