Dan survives his operation and receives the all-clear to resume surgery. Just as things seem back to normal, he discovers that Cathy is pregnant.

Ian comes to the Clinic to see Liam but it's not a social call - he's looking for the morning-after pill for a girl he had unprotected sex with.

Keelin refers Ronan's ERU partner Paul to Clodagh after a physio session reveals an unusual blue mark on his leg. Clodagh consequently diagnoses Paul with PVD - a condition that could lead to a stroke or heart-attack.

Cara wakes up beside Liam but leaves before his kids wake up. Liam feels it's too soon for Ian and Aoife to know just how close they've become.

It is clear there is tension between the two men in Daisy's life when Conor's early-morning piano-practice infuriates Adam.

Bernie moves in with Patrick and she soon realizes that he's not yet ready to completely share his life with her.

Cathy surprises Dan by buying their dream-home in the countryside, but just as their plans for the future seem to be taking shape, a delusional Emer makes it quite clear to Dan that she's not going to let go of him without a fight.
