It wasn't until he put a gun into her mouth and hospitalized her that she ended the relationship. Ironically that was to be the start of her nightmare.

Like so many of these tragedies it all seems to start so innocently, nothing to set alarm bells ringing. She wanted to be a teacher, but worked in Hooters for the money. He saw himself as a good guy, but was obsessed with guns and control. The problem was Troy thought he had paid for Alyssa, she just saw it as a job. His obsession became Alyssa.
