When Mr. Mooney's boss threatens to fire Mooney because his bank branch has not succeeded in securing many new accounts, Lucy attempts to convince millionaire country singer Homer Higgins to deposit his money with the bank to help save Mr. Mooney’s career.

S05:E01 - Lucy With George Burns
Upon visiting the bank Lucy works for, George Burns discovers Lucy’s instinctive style of comedic humor and asks her to become a partner in his show. Mr. Mooney, who believes this is the perfect opportunity to rid himself of Lucy at the bank, accepts the offer to become her talent agent.
S05:E02 - Lucy and the Submarine
Mr. Mooney forgets to sign some important papers prior to leaving the bank for Naval Reserve Training, so Lucy must travel to the submarine he is about to embark on. Dressing up as a sailor, Lucy boards the craft to look for Mooney, but before she can exit, the submarine sets sail, forcing Lucy to improvise.
S05:E03 - Lucy and Bean Queen
When Mr. Mooney refuses to co-sign Lucy's loan for new furniture, she launches an elaborate scheme to win the money from a company manufacturing beans.
S05:E05 - Lucy and the Ring-a-Ding Ring
When Lucy tries on an expensive ring Mr. Mooney just made for his wife, the ring gets stuck on Lucy’s finger, leaving Mr. Mooney in doubt as to whether he will be able to give his wife the special anniversary present he made for her.
S05:E06 - Lucy Flies to London
When Lucy enters a dog food jingle contest, she wins the grand prize: a trip to London, England. Lucy packs her ticket in her luggage, and misses her plane, only to find herself seated next to Mr. Mooney on the next flight to depart.
S05:E07 - Lucy Gets a Roommate
To cut down on expenses, Lucy advertises for a roommate, selecting a shy Librarian named Carol Bradford. To get Carol to come out of her shell, Lucy and Mary Jane throw a party and invite a group of musicians to perform.
S05:E08 - Lucy and Carol in Palm Springs
When Lucy calls in sick to work so that she may be a part of her roommate Carol’s musical act at a Palm Springs resort, Lucy’s boss Mr. Mooney, on vacation himself, is unfortunately staying at the very same hotel.
S05:E09 - Lucy Gets Caught Up in the Draft
When a letter arrives from the U.S. Government, Lucy discovers that she has mistakenly been drafted into the Marines. Upon visiting the draft office to correct the error, Lucy is informed that she must become a Marine until the paperwork gets straightened out due to an irregular armed forces regulation.
S05:E10 - Lucy and John Wayne
Mr Mooney sends Lucy to deliver papers pertaining to the financing of John Wayne's latest production. Despite orders to drop off the papers with one of the studio's secretaries, Lucy insists on meeting Mr. Wayne himself while he is lunching. After spilling ketchup on The Duke, Lucy trails him to his movie set and wreaks havoc.
S05:E11 - Lucy and Pat Collins
Lucy and Mary Jane meet Pat Collins, a celebrity hypnotist, at a fashion show and are invited to her nightclub performance. When Lucy learns that Mr. Mooney is suffering insomnia, she insists that he attend Collin’s program with the hope that he will become more relaxed under the hypnotist's spell.
S05:E12 - Lucy and the Monkey
Mary Jane warns Lucy that the long hours she has been putting in at the office could lead to hallucinations. Later, when she sees a monkey appear and disappear in Mr. Mooney's chair, she begins to think she is losing her mind and consults a psychiatrist for help.
S05:E13 - Lucy and the Efficiency Expert
When efficiency expert Oliver Kasten takes over bank operations for Mr. Mooney, he makes Lucy his gal Friday. Lucy’s first task is to visit a toy factory to drum up some business, but her success in this endeavor is predicated upon her working the assembly line to prove that one worker can do the job of four.
S05:E14 - Lucy's Substitute Secretary
Upon preparing for a vacation, Lucy experiences a change of heart when her substitute secretary turns out to be an attractive blonde that captures Mr. Mooney’s attention. Lucy secretly pretends to go on vacation but actually stays behind to play the role of spy at the office to make sure her job stays secure.
S05:E15 - Viv Visits Lucy
When Viv flies to California to visit Lucy, Viv confides in Lucy that her visited involves a search for a young college student from her hometown of Danfield whom she believes has fallen in with the no-good beatnik crowd. Lucy and Viv disguise themselves as hippies, hoping to track down the young man.
S05:E16 - Lucy the Babysitter
When Mr. Mooney challenges Lucy to find another job, confident that she will not last a day at another company, Lucy visits an employment agency that helps find her a job babysitting chimpanzees. Lucy is driven by the fact that if she wins the bet, Mr. Mooney will rehire her, and, give her a raise.
S05:E17 - Main Street U.S.A.
Mr. Mooney and Lucy travel to a charming small town to loan its mayor money to put towards a freeway that would essentially redevelop the town. Upon their arrival, Lucy and Mr. Mooney are greeted with intense opposition, and Lucy decides to join those who are against the development of the freeway.
S05:E18 - Lucy Puts Main Street on the Map
When Lucy formulates a plan to bring the small town of Bancroft’s heartfelt story to the rest of America, Lucy, and the town’s founding fathers, stage a gun battle with the goal of being featured on national news coverage to help persuade people to visit Bancroft and save it from modernization.
S05:E19 - Lucy Meets the Law
Lucy is arrested for she what believes is the simple charge of littering. However, Lucy comes to find out that her arrest is more serious and based on the fact that she matches the description of a red-haired jewel thief that has been victimizing local stores.
S05:E20 - Lucy the Fight Manager
After Mr. Mooney has an argument with his wife, he orders flowers for her that are delivered by ex-prize fighter, Eddie Rickles. Mr. Mooney learns that Eddie wishes to own his own flower shop but ends up denying Eddie a $3,000 loan from his bank. Determined to help, Lucy gets Eddie to fight one more time.

Mr. Mooney grants permission to Producer Sheldon Leonard to film the Pilot episode of his new T.V. series at his bank, an episode that involves a bank robbery scene. Lucy and Mary Jane, believing the holdup is real, become driven to foil the gangster’s robbery attempt hoping to earn a pay raise.
