Susan Henderson is given a magical ring to find her true love, Carter Ransome. Susan realizes the ring brought love, but not true love. In the end, overcoming their "Touch and Go" situation, Susan helps Carter regain his career and they arrange a future rendezvous in New York. Carl Peter's fantasy to find his love, Hallie Miller, turns out to be a witch's curse. The plague is broken when they sacrifice their unselfish love for each other and "The Devil Stick" disappears.
