Gordon Ramsay visits Meson de Mesilla, a “luxury” Tuscan-style hotel in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Owner and child-star, Cali Szczawinski, purchased the hotel to perform Cher songs every night to a captive audience.

Gordon Ramsay checks in to The Monticello Hotel in Longview, Washington, owned by Phillip Lovingfoss: a wealthy individual with a fleet of classic cars and a drinking problem so serious that it is threatening to destroy his hotel and his life.

Gordon visits Applegate, Oregon, to try to rescue the failing Applegate River Lodge. Despite being over a million dollars in debt, the owner, Richard Davis, is more interested in smoking cannabis than he is in fixing the problems of this family-built inn.

Gordon visits West Dover in Vermont, to try to save a dog-friendly hotel that’s desperately in need of help. Sandy MacDougall, the owner, runs the hotel like a hostel with unpaid staff staying in the rooms instead of paying guests.

Gordon Ramsay checks in to Murphy’s Historic Hotel near Sacramento in northern California, where party-boy owners Brian, Kevin and Joel are too busy drinking, partying and lap-dancing in the rowdy bar, to look after their historic hotel.

Gordon checks in to Connecticut’s oldest inn, the Curtis House. This historic inn has been run by the Hardisty family for generations, but the business has started to fall apart and the family legacy is on the brink of being lost.

Gordon Ramsay checks in to the Historic Calumet Inn, in Pipestone, Minnesota. Joint owners, Vanda and Rina Smrkovski were given the inn as a gift by their father (who they still call “daddy”), and they treat it with less respect than a dolls house.
