Ip Man: Origins

Ip Man awaits his childhood sweetheart, Wing-Shing, while Master Wah-Shun and his son Zi quarrel.

Wing-Shing calls off her engagement to Ip Man, and then Ip Man and Zi fight. Ching-Shan reveals his plan to save China.

Wah-Shun refuses to teach Wing Chun to either Ip Man or Zi. Wing-Shing decides to go to France.

Wah-Shun finally agrees to take on Ip Man as his disciple, which pushes Zi to the brink. Ching-Shan deceives Wing-Shing.

Ip Man exposes Ching-Shan's plot, which turns Wing-Shing against him.

Zi is enraged to learn that his father still intends to train Ip Man. Ip Man is framed for murder and flees to Hong Kong.

Forces plot against Ip Man's family while he hides out in Hong Kong.

Ip Man gets into a fight and is arrested. Wing-Shing learns the truth about Ching-Shan.

Despite the many obstacles blocking his path, Ip Man practices day and night to fight for the dignity of his people.
