For years Peter Braxton and his congregation have been hulled up in their church as the outside world darkened. Now, they must find and face The Dark.

After leaving the protection of the church for the first time, the group finds itself being hunted by the relentless army released by The Dark.

Four members of the group are being held captive by Lucian. The Dark attempts to convince Daniel that he is not the evil one he is portrayed as.

Peter and The Dark meet face to face. Can Peter convince Daniel to return home after The Dark has shown Daniel what is possible? Can all wars be won?
