We find Princess Elizabeth in Kenya learning of her father's passing. There is a sense of renewal as supporters of the British Monarchy see her arrival as a sign of the times.
S01:E02 - The 1960's
We explore the changing role of the Windsors’ relationship to the Commonwealth and the political upheaval in the world. Former colonies move to independence, often with violence.
S01:E03 - The 70's - 80's
The world is in the grip of the Cold War and Elizabeth Initially visits a communist country, Yugoslavia in 1972. We also see the formation of a far more aggressive media presence.
