Kevin and his father get the crib ready for his baby who will be delivered by a surrogate in the coming weeks. Kevin's family fully supports his desire to become a dad and don't believe his sexual orientation or his marital status will compromise his ability to be a great parent. Eighteen-year-old Nicole is eight months pregnant and no longer with the biological father of her baby. A former party girl, Nicole has matured as a result of her pregnancy. Nicole's new boyfriend, Kenya, is with her every step of the way. Carla's mid-wife arrives when her contractions are in full swing. Carla stays at home as long as she possibly can, but when the pain becomes intolerable, they head off to the hospital. Relief comes in the form of a hot Jacuzzi. After hours of intense labor, Carla gives birth "naturally" to a healthy baby girl.
