AutoTempest challenged us to find three cheap exotics that are better than a new C8 Corvette. We bought a pimped-out Ferrari 360, Aston Martin V12 Vantage S, and a gated manual Lamborghini Gallardo that may have been underwater at some point in its life. Then we found out what's wrong with them. Oh boy...

Three “cheap” exotics. One brutal rule: fix something by midnight or pay the price. In Tavarish’s secret shop, a Ferrari fights reverse, a Gallardo battles flood mud, and a fuse-pull “fix” sparks chaos right before a no-highway road trip challenge drops.

After a midnight wrench a thon, the exotics face a brutal challenge: 200 miles, one tank, no highways. A fuel fill turns into a gas-soaked scare, traffic tests tempers, and a duct-tape diffuser fails at speed. Auto Tempest snaps sending them to a drag strip to chase factory quarter-mile times.

Auto Tempest sends the crew to the dyno to see how much horsepower their bargain exotics have left. The flood Lamborghini throws errors and leaks, the Ferrari pulls a “secret” exhaust-valve trick, and the Aston hopes the factory numbers were real. The results spark a new question: did the cars lose power or did the dyno lie?

The guys roll into McLaren Palm Beach for trade in appraisals and reality hits hard. A flood title Gallardo, a rough-around the edges Ferrari, and a V12 Aston get judged under bright showroom lights. After losing tens of thousands on paper, Auto Tempest sends them to “the president’s house” for a photo… and awkward neighbor interviews.

Auto Tempest sets a brutal road-trip rule: reach Amelia Island by sunset with under 30 minutes stopped plus haul golf clubs in every car. The flood Gallardo overheats, tempers flare, and “cannonball” pacing turns into survival mode. They arrive… only to learn the Concours judge is scoring their beat-up exotics tomorrow.

On the eve of Amelia Island, the guys “detail” their exotics the lazy way one drive-thru carwash, one soaked Ferrari, and one perfectionist with quick detailer. Then a Concours judge scores their battered supercars… until Auto Tempest drops a final budget twist that flips the winner and forces two cars to be listed.
