In the style of A Christmas Carol, The Divine brings Max through Christmas past, present and future to convince him that telling the truth to Maggie will set both of them free.

Max begs forgiveness, but Patrick needs space. Max returns to Maggie, and Patrick confronts Max at their house. Maggie defends Max, Patrick believes them, planning to talk when an unexpected visitor arrives.

Max wakes up from a disoriented state to find he no longer has couvade syndrome.
