Caillou

Caillou visits Grandma who shows him a book about clowns she got from the library. Grandma suggests they make puppets and have a clown theatre of their very own. With brown paper bags and some yarn, Caillou and Grandma put on a surprise performance for Mom and Rosie. // Caillou and Mom go to the library for story time. Caillou has scribbled on one of the books he borrowed, and is afraid to bring it back. Celementine's Mom who is in charge of story time cleans the book. Caillou takes home a new book and this time he will be extra careful with it. // When Mom has to be away for the day, she asks if Caillou can help Daddy look after Rosie. Caillou feels proud to be in charge and takes his job very seriously. When Rosie hurts herself he knows exactly what Mom would do and comforts her right away with a kiss. At bed time, Rosie is fussy and Caillou suggests to Dad that he should read them a bedtime story. Caillou launches into his imaginary story and when Mom walks into the room, she finds Caillou and Rosie wide awake, but Dad snoozing on the bed. // When Caillou notices that Dad and Grandpa are captivated by a baseball game on TV, he wants to get in on the excitement. Dad and Grandpa are eager to teach Caillou how to play the game. At first, Caillou's discouraged by how difficult it is, but lots of practice and some good coaching from Dad and Grandpa make it a little easier for him. The end result? A backyard baseball game with the whole family and Mr. Hinkly joining in on the fun.
