Sylvester tries to help Junior get a cat's paw badge for hunting birds. / Foghorn tries to do a good deed by helping childless old Prissy Hen to lay an egg by planting one when she's not looking. Trouble arrises when the hatchling wants to take over Foghorn's job. / Daffy hears that a television station is giving away a prize to the first person who can bring in a rabbit. Daffy chases Bugs and traps him in a telephone booth. Bugs manages to escape and tricks Daffy into dressing up as a rabbit. Bugs takes Daffy the rabbit to the station to collect a prize. Daffy tells the station that he is actually a duck, but that works out well for them because it is now duck season.
