When an elderly man, Edward, who always paid his rent on time, failed to do so, the apartment manager calls in a welfare check. As it turns out, Edward was tortured and murdered inside his apartment. Quinn and Vince hightail it to the scene and upon investigating, soon realize murder is not always accomplishedalone.
