Before J.Lo, before Gloria Estefan; Lisa Lisa was the Latin Princess who crossed over on pop charts around the world. As a trio, Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam - Lisa Velez, Mike Hughes and Alex “Spanador” - exploded on the scene in the mid-80s with hit songs like “I Wonder If I Take You Home” and “All Cried Out”, almost singled-handedly inventing a popular Latin Hip Hop/ freestyle genre.
