Drew impatiently waits for the perfect opportunity to propose marriage to pregnant Kellie, but her raging hormones make anticipating her mood impossible. When Drew decides to give Kellie her grandmother's heirloom engagement ring, he seeks out Kellie's parents, Don (recurring guest star MICHAEL GROSS) and Annette (recurring guest star SUSAN SULLIVAN), and discovers that their marriage is about to end. He desperately tries to prevent Kellie from finding out the distressing news before she considers getting married herself.
