The Bachelor

Prince Lorenzo Borghese must now make the most difficult decision of his life. The choice is down to two lovely final bachelorettes, Jennifer and Sadie. In the special gripping two-hour conclusion to this season of "The Bachelor," Borghese struggles with his final decision as to who will be his future princess. His parents, Prince Francesco and Princess Amanda Borghese, fly to Rome to help their son make his difficult choice. Meanwhile, Jennifer and Sadie are surprised by the arrival of their own parents. For the first time in "Bachelor" history, the final two women see each other again before the Bachelor's decision. An awkward cocktail party at the castle ensues between the three sets of parents, the nervous ladies and Borghese. Borghese's mother reveals that she helped design the engagement ring that her son will offer to one lucky bachelorette, and the bachelor chivalrously asks permission from both fathers to propose to their daughters. But as time ticks down, and the women each have a final intimate date with Borghese, laying their hearts on the line, he dissolves into tears as he realizes he must hurt one of them. In the final rose ceremony, emotions run high as the women await Borghese's answer. Finally, he makes his choice: Jennifer. After the tearful departure of heartbroken Sadie, Borghese gives Jennifer his mother's ring but says that he wants to make sure their love will survive in the real world before he proposes marriage. Smiling and laughing, Jennifer accepts Borghese's final rose and, after a celebratory glass of champagne, the lovers bid farewell to Rome to begin their new life together.
