A paraplegic is beaten to death in his home and Tessa and Steve connect the murder to other unsolved murders which have recently occurred.

Murder strikes a local community with a series of young women found dead with their bodies scrubbed clean. The killer leaves gardenias as a calling card.

Abel Jago sits dead in an armchair before his valuable toy railway, on which the train of cars make their rounds. The railway engineer left a letter to his wife Ellie before committing suicide

an ex-rock star is found dead surrounded by candles and draped in a purple robe. His body has been kept for a week, bathed and cared for in a barn by three sisters until discovered by a neighbour.
S01:E10 - Drop Dead Gorgeous
A former star footballer is found dead in the lift of a publicity building owned by Anita Black. Anita is successful, attractive and now missing.
S01:E11 - Dead and Gone
A woman in white runs screaming through a graveyard. The woman is Lucy Balzan, her husband is dead, allegedly pushed after walking in on thieves robbing the house of its heirlooms.
S01:E12 - Wages of Sin
Steve and Tessa investigate the death of a woman found in an area notorious for prostitutes. When they learn the woman was a pregnant nun and not a prostitute, their investigation takes a new turn.

A mummified body is found in an empty house. It is identified as Karen Diskin, who was missing presumed murdered two years ago.

The brutal murder of a video store owner initially appears to be linked to a protest demonstration until other suspects emerge.

Tessa suspects an apparent suicide is really an elaborate scam designed to cover a woman's disappearance.

When the general manager of a department store is found dead during the store's opening, the owner and employees become the main suspects in the investigation.
