The Odyssey

All Jay (Illya Woloshyn) wanted was to join a tree fort club.

Accompanied by his two new friends, the plucky Alpha (Ashley Rogers) and belligerent Flash (Tony Sampson), Jay sets out to find his way to the tower.

Jay is ready for transfer to the extended care ward, the idea of which makes val frantic.

Jay’s grandmother Sylvia comes to help with his therapy until a dizzy spell forces her to realize that her high blood pressure will make it impossible for her to continue.

Happily ensconced in the Driftwood treatment center, the sleeping Jay is read one of his favourite King Arthur stories by Donna.

Jay’s dog Bentley is pining, and Val decides she must find him another home where he won’t be so lonely.

Max decides jay and his friends might beneit from returning to the scene of the accident.

Keith visits Jay and accidentally knocks the telescope to the floor, helplessly watching it break to pieces.

Val and Max bombard Jay with sensory stimuli to jolt him into awareness.

It’s Jay’s Birthday, and Max tries an experiment with Val: registering Jay’s EEG responses to memories of his dead father.

Dr. Max evaluates the responses to the various stimuli, which have caused changes in Jay’s EEG readings.

Val relates to Max the strange circumstances around Brad’s accident – the early morning fishing trip with Jay, alone in the boat, with only Brad’s life jacket.
