S01:E01 - The Announcement
State Premier Kate Ballard is shocked when the Opposition announces a surprise new leader, popular media identity David McLeod. As David tests the waters in his new role, Kate turns to her friend and speechwriter, Oliver Parkham. Taking Ollie into her confidence, Kate reveals a shocking secret about David that could derail the election for both parties.
S01:E02 - The Meeting
With the spotlight firmly focused on new Opposition leader David, Kate struggles to maintain media and public interest in her government. She agrees to meet David privately and enlists Ollie’s help in arranging a secret meeting. Charlotte and Wayne have differing ideas from their leaders regarding campaign strategies and Tom wants to know Ollie’s secret.
S01:E03 - The Launch
David and Kate officially launch their election campaigns. Matilda steps into the public eye when damaging photos of her are leaked to the media. Pressure mounts on Kate and her team to review their campaign strategy in light of David’s unstoppable popularity and Ollie struggles to keep Tom for discovering the truth.
S01:E04 - The Campaign Trail
Kate and David head out of town on the campaign trail and Charlotte tries to get ahead of a breaking exposé. In the wake of negative publicity, pressure is on Kate’s team to improve her public image. Ollie struggles to help Kate manage the David situation and Tom’s actions threaten to unravel both David and Kate.
S01:E05 - The Debate
Kate and Geoff’s relationship is in jeopardy when Kate confesses the truth and David’s world is shaken by the breaking exposé. Sparks fly between Kate and David at the leaders’ debate and things go sideways for Ollie and Tom.
S01:E06 - The Election
Election day arrives but a leaked email threatens David’s campaign at the eleventh hour and Kate’s team rallies until the polls close. The election results surprise both parties and Kate makes an unexpected promise.
