The Abboud Al-Suhairy family fled persecution in Iraq to start a new life in Australia and Sean is invited into their home to learn traditional recipes for a special family dinner.

The Le family honour the annual Vietnamese Moon Festival, with a banquet of traditional dishes and Sean Connolly is there to learn how it's done.

Sean is invited to the wedding of Bengali bride Shrabastee and her Punjabi groom Ankit. The wedding culminates in a colourful and opulent vegetarian feast.

Chef Sean Connolly meets Graciela Yoia at the flamenco dance school. Every Sunday the Yoia family invite their friends around for a famous Argentinean barbeque known as an asado.

It's St George's Day and George Gavalas is celebrating his name day with family and friends, Greek style. Sean helps catch seafood and prepare for the evening festivities.
S01:E11 - The Afghans
Dr Rahman Shinwari and his wife Dr Arian moved to Australia during the Soviet occupation of Afghanistan. Sean helps them prepare for Eid al-Adha, an annual Islamic festival.
S01:E12 - The Serbians
Stana and Micho Kolundzija are Serbians who raised their family of daughters in the Sydney suburb of Mascot. Sean Connolly joins them to celebrate Stana's 66th birthday.

Every year the Balinese Community of NSW gets together to celebrate Galungan. Sean helps with preparation of the feast and an offering to the ancestors at a shrine.
