Flash Gordon: Conquers the Universe

When a ravaging plague, "The Purple Death", strikes the Earth, it is believed that Ming the Merciless is behind it and Flash starts off for Ming's headquarters to begin one of the most devastating battles of his career.

With one last chance to save mankind, an antidote for the Purple Death is discovered in the inbearably cold land of Frigia. Flash heads there with one 'of Ming's shops in hot pursuit.

While on the fateful mission to bring back the antidote to the Purple Death, Polarite, Flash and his party are attacked by the "walking bombs", an army of mechanical men.

After gathering enough Polarite to counter­act the death dust of the Purple Death, Flash rescues Dale and Dr. Zharkov from a destroying ray as they return to Earth.

Flash returns to Ming's palace and success­fully rescues Dale and Dr. Zharkov only to find that they are being attacked by Prince Garin who mistakes them for his enemy, Ming.

With the aid of Dr. Zharkov's new thermal control construction, Flash attempts to disengage one of Ming's fiery projectiles which threatens to destroy Prince Barin's kingdom.

In an attempt to eliminate Flash and his friends, the merciless Emperor Ming sets a time bomb on the Devil's Dome. Flash lands in the Land of the Dead unaware of the bomb or of the Rock Men who are watching every move.

Barely escaping the clutches of the Rock King, Flash and Dr. Zharkov discover the Rock Prince is being held by a giant magnetic force and plan his recovery.

Leaving the Land of the Dead, Flash and his crew accompany Prince Barin to Ming's palace to rescue the Princess Aura. Ming's guards trap them and sound the alarm.

Ming the Merciless dispatches gas bombers to destroy Prince Barin's palace. As the planes start their bombing, Flash battles to thwart the attack.

Dale and Princess Aura, are being held captive in a strangely protected death-dealing electrically trapped room which Flash must penetrate to free them.

Using Ming's own weapon against Ming himself, Flash succeeds in aiming the deadly Solarite ship toward the enemy tower bringing about the fiery doom of the evil emperor.
