Odin reveals to Brynhild the deception she fell for, leading her to order Sigurd’s death. In Midgard, Gudrun and Brynhild’s descendants wage war.
S01:E08 - The Prophecy of the Völva
Odin learns from a seer that Ragnarök will see the gods and giants perish, wolves devouring the sun and moon, and Baldr’s death, leaving him dishonored.
S01:E09 - Loki's Sarcasms
At a banquet, Loki insults the gods, exposing their weaknesses. Punished, he is chained under venom, forced to watch his sons kill each other. Odin knows Ragnarök is near.
S01:E10 - Twilight of the Gods
Endless wars and three years of eternal winter signal Ragnarök’s arrival. Heimdall blows his trumpet, but it’s too late. Odin consults Mímir’s head.
