Saving Hope
Saison 5 Épisode 12 - Leap of Faith
Drame · Fantaisie
Alex (Erica Durance) and Maggie (Julia Taylor Ross) work together for the last time before Maggie moves to London to be with Sydney (Stacey Farber) to deliver the baby of Dr. Storms (Ari Cohen) the plastic surgeon and his wife. Maggie rethinks her decision when she is offered a staff obstetrician job at Hope Zion, and as the realities of starting over her career in England set in. Charlie (Michael Shanks) treats a magician “Abbadon” (Joe Cobden) who has shattered both his legs when he fell from a great height during an illusion gone wrong. The magician’s ghost makes Charlie realize that he has the real magic, in being able to speak to spirits. Shahir (Huse Madhavji) treats his idol – a virtuosic concert pianist – with the help of Cassie (Kim Shaw). The pianist, who has a troubled relationship with her daughter as a result of her dedication to her career, has been inadvertently poisoning herself while trying to curb symptoms of early onset Parkinsons with homeopathic remedies for long enough for her to finish her opus. Shahir witnesses the strained relationship between the pianist and her teenage daughter and wonders if he can be a great surgeon and great father at the same time. In the end, we say goodbye to Maggie and Sydney as they move to London together.
