Fearing he will lose his ability after treatment, Charlie postpones his surgery to help Kris cross over. But after Alex discovers the Nurse’s past may not be as remembered, she and Charlie must team up to find a way to bring peace to the already troubled spirit. In the ward, Maggie, Bishop and Cassie treat a transplant-list patient for acute liver failure when it’s revealed her symptoms masked a pronounced pregnancy. As the complications mount the doctors must fight an uphill battle to save the lives of their patient and her miracle baby. Meanwhile, as the Fellowship Award pitches get under way, Zach’s growing relationship with Dawn is put on the rocks after Maggie declares her love for him.
