Taina and the Amazon's Guardians
Saison 1 Épisode 9 - The Crazy Anteater
Teodoro, the anteater, is Tainá’s number one fan, and he wants to become a Guardian of the Amazon! However, the baby anteater will only cause trouble, playing the hero, and more often than not, Tainá and the true Guardians of the Amazon must intervene. The Cru-Cru calls them out one more time, and a landslide puts some animals at risk. Tainá saves all of them, until she suddenly hears someone still in the danger zone, and runs to the rescue. In the middle of the landslide, she sees Teodoro, trying to play the hero! Luckily he’s an anteater, and manages to dig a safe exit from the landslide zone, following the path of an abandoned termite mound and thus saving not only himself, but also Tainá and the Guardians of the Amazon. Back to safety, the gang realizes that Teodoro was at the danger zone to actually save a bird, and grant him the title of Guardian of the Amazon.

The animals of the forest call the Cru-Cru for them, and Tainá and her gang run to their help. The Guardians of the Amazon take the baby turtles out of the dangerous stream, save the baby owl from the waterfall and, to top it off, teach them that each one has their own way of being.

Belmiro really is a shock!
S01:E06 - The Uirapuru’s Warble
Uru, the son of Mr. Uirapuru, doesn’t want to sing on the Uirapurus’ Tree. First, because he thinks the tree is about to fall, since it’s hundreds of years old, and second because he wants to sing in his modern and swingy style, not the traditional uirapuru way. But Mr. Uirapuru is a quite traditional type and doesn’t want to hear bout new creations or moving from the Uirapurus’ Tree. Tainá and her friends arrive just in time to save the uirapurus from the falling tree and make Mr. Uirapuru accept to see his son’s modern way of singing: an amazing bird rap concert.
S01:E07 - What an Appetite, Sofia!
Tainá doesn’t want to eat, all she wants to do is to play – and because of that, she barely manages to answer the Cru-Cru call. It’s Sofia who’s calling, the greedy Green Anaconda, who got stuck on a tree after her tummy got bloated for eating too much. The gang tries everything, but Sofia’s tummy is way too large and she just won’t pass through the branches, until Suri accidentally pricks Sofia with her spines and she finally frees herself. That’s when the adventure starts! The anaconda starts rolling down a hill, accidentally taking Pepe and Catu with her, and the three of them almost fall into the abyss – but at the last minute Tainá regains her strength by eating some fruits, and saves the group. Eating is good, but we shouldn’t overdo it.

The stuck-up little bird prefers to work at night and sleep during the day, leaving everyone else with dark circles and with their hair standing on end. Tainá and her gang are called out to intervene, but nothing will talk Mr. Pedroangelo out of working at night, until Tainá has an ingenious idea: preventing the woodpecker from sleeping during the day, for him to understand how bad it is to spend a sleepless night. The plan works and Mr. Pedroangelo becomes the dearest bird in the forest, with his beautiful animal sculptures all around.

The Cru-Cru calls them out one more time, and a landslide puts some animals at risk. Tainá saves all of them, until she suddenly hears someone still in the danger zone, and runs to the rescue. In the middle of the landslide, she sees Teodoro, trying to play the hero! However, Momma Manatee is an overprotective mother who’s now tormenting her other cubs, not letting them do anything. They can’t go to that place because it’s too deep, neither to that other place because it’s too shallow, and so on. Tainá and her friends spend the whole day trying to prevent Momma Manatee from ruining her cubs’ playtime, but she messes up anyways, and gets them all trapped in a river swirl. Opidê helps Tainá, her gang and his friends to get out of trouble, and Momma Manatee learns her lesson: it’s nice to take care of those we love, but we shouldn’t get overprotective.
S01:E11 - A Bored Capybara
It won’t stop raining at the Amazon, so Tainá and her friends are really bored. They’re not alone: two baby capybaras, Capivari and Capinejar, who also hate rainy days, go to the Terrible Caves in order to play – there, it never rains. But the Terrible Caves are named like that for a reason, so Tainá and her gang are soon called out to save the two little troublemakers. After many adventures inside the Caves, Tainá and her friends manage to get out safe, bringing the two baby capybaras along. It still rains at the Amazon, but getting wet in the rain is way better than getting trapped inside a cave.
S01:E12 - Mauro, the Bat
Tainá and her friends are called out to help once more. This time it’s Mauro, the mysterious bat that lives in the gloomy Skull Caverns, who needs them. It seems that one of the walls in his home has collapsed, and Tainá can use her strength to help rebuild it. Tainá’s friends, however, are scared to death of Mauro’s quirks and Catu ends up creating panic and starting a desperate flight through the corridors of the Skull Caverns. Tainá can’t find a way to calm her friends down, and Catu almost falls into the abyss when he leaves the Caverns through an exit on a mountain top – only to be saved by none other than Mauro, who is actually a pretty nice guy. What isn’t nice is judging people by their looks.
S01:E13 - The Jungle Band
Pepe has a surprise for his friends. He and Pedroangelo, the sculptor woodpecker, built instruments for Catu, Suri and Tainá. Pepe already has his drum set. The gang is very happy with their instruments and start to play, but no one seems interested in playing as a group, and they end up fighting. Upset, Tainá abandons the rehearsal and sings a beautiful song about friendship. Her friends listen to her, stop arguing and each of them sings a different song in honor of their beloved friends. They reconcile and the first Jungle Band’s official rehearsal may finally go on.
