Even though he is engaged to Kate, Drew feels like his life is more pathetic than ever, since he has a humiliating job in the cafeteria of his former high school. Wondering how he became such a loser, Drew discovers that his teenage pals Kate, Oswald and Lewis were instrumental in causing his problems. Kate mistakenly convinced Drew that his nerdy eyeglasses were sexy, Lewis introduced Drew to beer, and Oswald accidentally ruined Drew's application to a prestigious college. Nonetheless, Drew vows to take responsibility for the way he is today.
