S01:E01 - Lighthouse Keeping
Balthazar travels to the Alps where he meets a man who spends his whole life yodelling although he is disturbed by avalanches. Soon after that he finds a lighthouse keeper in the South Seas who is unable to eat his continuously melting ice-cream. Finally, they both change places, son that the first one yodels to his heart's content on the small island and the other is able to eat ice-cream in the Alps together with his friend Otto, The whale.
S01:E02 - The Rise and Fall of Horatio
Balthazar's friend, the famous conductor Horatio, loses favour because of the misfortune which suddenly strikes - at every concert he loses his trousers. In order to help his friend, Balthazar invents the strongest braces in the world, which are so elastic that they enable the most fantastic jumps: thus Horatio is rehabilitated and at the same a new entertainment is created which takes by storm the whole world.
S01:E03 - The Inventor of Shoes
Professor Balthazar was an inventor. One day he thought up a pair of quite extraordinary shoes. These shoes could y, dance, jump, chase around like an automobile; very extraordinary shoes indeed. Being the good fellow that he was, Professor Balthazar made a present of them to all his friends. For many, these extraordinary shoes solved various problems and made life easier. However, Professor Balthazar made a mistake. One day after an explosion in his laboratory our Professor found himself in the hospital. He was not lonesome in the hospital for all his friends who he helped by making a present of his extraordinary shoes came to present him with a gift, each in his particular way.
S01:E04 - The Flying Fabian
The tram conductor Fabian saves the life of a small sparrow which then, teaches him how to fly. Fabian's tram becomes the first fying tram in the world and this causes a lot of trouble which, however, end happily.
S01:E05 - Maestro Koko
Elefant Koko, the famous musician, plays music on his trunk. He also loves to eat enormous quantities of ice-cream, But, one day he catch a terrible cold and cannot play any more. Koko is desperate and disappears from the town. His friends, together with professor Balthazar, search the whole world to nd him. Finally they discover him on the North Pole where his trunk served as a pleasant, warm shower for Koko's new friends.
S01:E06 - Martin Makes It to the Top
Martin is a man whom nobody notices despite his efforts to attract attention Balthazar presents him with a book on how to climb of success. But Martin dissappears and only then does everybody notice that he is missing. Finally, Balthazar nds him at the top of high mountain where together with his friend the eagle, he happily makes paper airplanes from the book he has received.
S01:E07 - Of Mouse and Ben
The famous clock-maker Oscar repairs Balthazar’s clock and finds inside the mouse Igor who spends his whole life inside clocks. They became friends but Igor wanders away who spends his whole life inside clocks. They become friends but Igor wanders away in search for clocks. Professor Balthazar is attending a congress in London when a catastrophe happens: Big Ben, clock above all clocks stops working .The whole of Great Britain is excited.Master Oscar discovers the mouse Igor inside Big Ben, and it works once again. The grateful British permit Igor to live for ever inside Big Ben, which was his life’s dream.
S01:E08 - Arts and Flowers
The painter Leo is unhappy because the people do not understand his art, although he tries to apply it t everyday life. Professor Balthazar, the only person who buys his pictures brings him for his birthday present a flower port from which would grow a beautiful flower . Two butterflies, Florian and Fib, fall in love with the flower and Leo falls in love with them An inseparable friendship is started. Wishing to show Professor Balthazar his gratitude , Leo performs a show in which Florian and Fib are involved. Colour TV transmitted it and a million viewers are delighted. The colours of their wings created a new fashion which could not be stopped. Leo becomes famous but he continues to live modestly with his two inseparable friends Florian and Fib.
S01:E09 - Happiness for Two

S01:E10 - Knitting Pretty
Two aunts enjoy more than anything else , knitting for their friends. When they once knitted a pullover with eight sleeves, they decided to present it to the star of the theatre, the octopus with its eight arms. The pullover was such a success with his friends from the bottom of the sea that they all rushed to the two aunts with requests for pullovers. Then Balthazar invents a special machine which enables the aunts to knit enough pullovers for all those interested.
S01:E11 - Victor's Egg-O-Mat
Victor and his egg-o-mat – a machine for perfectly Boiled eggs – is the main sensation in Professor Balthazar’s town.
When the egg-o-mat and all the clocks In town break down – numerous problems appear and Professor Balthazar is asked for help. He soon discovers Zizi, an inhabitant from a distant planet who tries To repair his small spaceship by stealing springs from the clocks. Whilst salving Zizi’s problem, Balthazar restores the services of the egg-o-mat.
S01:E12 - A Windy Story
In one city the wind ceased to blow and that upset all the citizens. Professor Balthazar had discovered that the wind went to the neighbouring town and caused havoc their. Balthazar constructed ingenious devices which both cities in a very funny way.
S01:E13 - Starlight Serenaders
Tailor, road sweeper and glass-blower discover the possibilities for performing music with their tools. But the audience booed. Even after persistent practise and a beautiful performance the audience still does not understand them.
Professor Balthazar discovers in space a lonely singer. Our three enthusiasts travel by spaceship to the lonely singer and make a friendship. Music brought them together. Professor Balthazar appears with his friends at least once a month at the performances of the Star Quartet. In such way the circle of fans grows little by little.
