Fear Factor

Both contestants are trapped in cars that are each suspended by cranes opposing each other. On go they must chew through their restraints and then one must climb out and go to the rear of his car where he must open a box containing bean bags. Once his partner has freed herself they must toss and catch as many bean bags as they can in a 2-minute span, with the "catcher" clipping the bean bags to her harness. After two minutes, both cars will fall out from under the contestants feet and slam into each other. The contestants will both be left dangling in the air as explosions go off and the cars then drop to the ground. The female contestant will be locked to a conveyer belt that will be lowered into a shaft filled with hundreds of webs crawling with thousands of tarantulas. On go the male contestant must work a crank to lower his partner down into the spider infested shaft to three separate key stations where she will retrieve a key with her mouth while having crickets and additional tarantulas dumped onto her head. After the female contestant reaches each of the three key stations and retrieves the key she must signal her partner who must then enter a plexiglass tank filled with ice and water to retrieve a tin can containing another key. He must use that key to unlock a piece on the conveyor that will enable him to continue turning the crank and moving his partner down the shaft to the next station.
