S03:É08 - S03:E08 - Episode 8

With school, housework, training and surfing thriving for Charley, life is perfect. To add to Charley's high, it's competition time again and the Blue Water team blow away their opponents. Not only is Charley performing particularly well, he has a flurry of female fans, shouting out his name and cheering him on - Maisie, Dianna and Cherrie. Good fortune can't last forever though, and Charley's high comes crashing down. Much to the amusement of the rest of the Blue Water team (except for Loren), Maisie bounds up to Charley, yells her adoration and gives him the most enthusiastic of kisses. From this point on, Charley's life suddenly starts to slide downhill. Training becomes hard and getting out of bed even harder. Schoolwork is a blur and his energy levels are non-existent. Bec finally takes him to the doctor only to discover that he has glandular fever. Charley is devastated. Not only does he have to stop training; he has to go back home so he can have constant care and rest. It's a blow for the whole Solar Blue team but none more so than Loren. As Charley leaves, a common thought is at the front of everyone's mind - will he ever come back?
