QI expert Alan Davies, introduces incredible stories of Dog rescues from the RSPCA's Leybourne Animal Centre. We join elderly Yorkie-cross Sally and her new owners to a Dog First Aid training day where they learn useful tips, from finding a pulse to doggy CPR. In South London, Inspector Kate Fletcher rescues Cassie the Staffie from a house littered with drugs and used needles. Worried that Cassie might have ingested drugs, Kate races her to a vets for a drugs test. Specialist police dog trainer PC Lee Webb puts 12 month old Staffie, Tyson through his paces to see if he’s got the right stuff to become a canine officer of the law. In Durham we join Inspector Emma Stainthorpe on a dawn raid to rescues 50 dogs from horrific conditions. Last year Birmingham based Inspector Herchy Boal rescued a very skinny Elsie; we visit her in her new home.
