Finally, we have the story of an army recruit who was pushed to the edge and whose drastic actions backfired. Find out which legend is the truth at the end of the show. In between, we entertain you with three mini-myths: the car crash that saved a young girl from choking, the wife who set her apartment on fire—while her husband was home, and the legend of the killer hiding in the back seat of a lone driver’s car.

S01:E01 - Mixed Up In Crime
Not everything is as it seems! Each episode features three extraordinary stories from the realm of Urban Legends—but only one tale is true. Can you figure out which? We kick off with the legend of a junkie who got shot at close range, found the Lord and then miraculously coughed out the bullet lodged in his chest. Then, we meet a German on a business trip to Rio, who wakes from a night on the town to find he’s had one of his kidneys stolen. And to top it off, there’s the story of a gang leader who sends a new recruit out on a deadly mission—but winds up dead himself. You’ll have to wait until the very end to find out which Urban Legend is actually true! But in between, we’ll entice you with mini-myths about a finger found in a bowl of chili, two fingers found in a Doberman’s stomach, and a dead guy roaming the streets drunk.

S01:E04 - No Excuses For Stupidity
This episode features three stories about idiots doing stupid things. But which tale actually happened? Was it the hapless hippies who took a hit of LSD and then lost their eyesight. The bored young men of Spokane who decide to boost their buddy’s self-confidence by streaking through a family restaurant in the middle of winter. Or the guys who decide to go hunting but wind up only killing their dog and blowing up a very expensive vehicle. Find out the lone true tale at the end of the show! And in between, we’ll tell you mini-myths about the lawyer who falls out of a 24-story window, a robber who leaves his dentures at the scene of a crime, and a guy who takes falling asleep at the wheel to a new level.
S01:E05 - Fickle Finger of Fate
Our three stories all have in common the strange hand dealt by fate—but remember—only one tale is actually true! Is it the story of young man who prepares for a date by buying condoms—without realising the shopkeeper is his girlfriend’s father? Or the soldier who walked around with a broken neck for 60 years without knowing! Or did a scuba enthusiast really go out for a dip, only to end up giving his life to putting out a forest fire? All will be revealed at the end of the show! In between you’ll see the story of the man who choked on his steak, the soccer team killed by lightning, and the med student who discovered he was adopted when his twin appears on the autopsy table.

The three stories in this episode are so outlandish they can’t be true, but are so outrageous we are desperate for them to be real! We feature three urban legends about bizarre ways to meet your maker—but which one is true? You’ll find out at the end of the show. We start with the straight-A student who suffered a fatally painful exam, we then move on to the woman who experienced a truly gut wrenching cruise due to a powerful toilet, and we end with the story of the groom, the stripper, and the stag night that goes tragically wrong. And in between, we’ll entertain you with mini-myths about the guy who mistook his video equipment for his parachute, a religious statue that was involved in a car crash, and a tidal wave of molasses that caused mayhem in Boston.

The stories in this episode have been passed around for so long that they have become legend—but which one of these three myths, each starring animals, is actually true? First, there’s the bizarre cat who manages to mimic her owner’s every illness—with drastic results. Then, the unlucky cat who’s rescued by the fire brigade only to find a far worse fate. And lastly, the feisty fish who took on a big man—and won the battle. And in between, to entertain you, we have mini-myths about the abused goat that got his revenge, the terrier who took a giant leap, and the designer dog falsely accused of destroying a priceless carpet.

Join us as we separate fact from fiction. In this episode we bring you a trio of extraordinary tales, which will make you think—there goes the neighborhood as all three stories are based in households from hell! We start with the death of a cat that led to a disastrous dinner party, then we show you how a landslide ruined a family’s home, but revealed a treasure trove, and finally you’ll see how one husband went to extremes to save his marriage. And in between, we’ll entertain you with a train that boosts the birth rate of a town, discarded perfume that caused a house to burn down and sent someone to hospital, and the little mouse who got his revenge on his would-be killer.
S01:E09 - Mail Mix Ups
Welcome to the world of urban legends! This time we have three tall tales based on postage problems; can you separate the junk mail from the first class post? We start with how a little guy took on a corporate goliath using chocolate pudding as his only weapon, then you’ll meet a Marine who receives a package from home containing his just desserts, and finally we have the cash-strapped dimwit who decided to ship himself home in a box to join his family for Thanksgiving. And in between, we’ll entertain you with the low-tech method cops used to get a crook to confess, the man who went to court and fell in love, and a megastar mugging in a Las Vegas elevator.
S01:E10 - The Stuff of Nightmares
This episode features a trio of chilling tales involving people being plunged into nightmare scenarios: the man whose life literally went down the drain one rainy morning; the unsuspecting visitor locked up at the mental asylum in a case of mistaken identity; and the golfer who had a fatal encounter with a water hazard. Which one is true? You’ll find out at the end. And for a quick fix of myth, we’ll tantalize you with the babysitters who took a hit of LSD and put the wrong thing in the oven, the strong men who lost their arms in a tug of war, and the headless biker who caused a trucker to crash.
S01:E11 - Good & Evil
Our trio of tales features the age-old battle between good and evil. Can you separate fact from fiction? We start with a cursed hospital bed that claims the lives of all those who sleep in it, then we have the Sicilian town that spontaneously combusts—even when the power is off—and to round things off we have the church choir whose bad timing turned into good fortune. Which story is true? You’ll find out at the end of the show. And in between, we’ll entice you with the dog who had a close encounter with airborne waste, a strategy for tricking cops, and the airline who get inventive when they find a dead dog on board.

This episode features a trio of tales involving marital transgressions, but only one of these tales of passion actually happened. Can you figure out which one? First, we have the philanderer who was ratted out by a feathered friend, then we have the dream car covered in concrete in a jealous rage, and finally we have an adulterer whose lottery luck left him a loser in love. And in between, we’ll entertain you with a wife who cheated on her husband without touching another man, the tram accident that made a woman insatiable, and a hairdresser who made a terrible mistake.
S01:E13 - The Dark Side
Our trio of stories in this episode take a walk on the dark side. Chillingly, one tale is real; can you figure out which? We start with a couple who unknowingly wind up sharing a hotel room with a corpse, then we have the office who spent a week with a corpse, and finally we have the family that snacks on a corpse. We’ll tell you which eerie tale is real at the end. Until then, we’ll entertain you with the couple whose meal at a Chinese restaurant was really shocking, the family who grieved for a living daughter, and the fraternity who played a deadly joke on a new pledge.
S01:E14 - The Human Body
The three stories in this episode feature incredible intrusions on the human body inflicted by Mother Nature. Remember, one story actually happened. We’ll unveil the truth at end. We begin with the woman who was struck by lightning not once but twice and instead of killing her, the lightning cured here of her crippling disease. Then we meet the young man who took a dip in the Amazon River only to discover size really does matter when it comes to parasites! We close with the woman whose tongue became a buggy menace thanks to an egg infested envelope. And in between, we have short tales about the student who cracks an impossible math problem, a model who visited too many tanning salons, and a criminal who tried to make his getaway but wound up locked in a cop’s car for days.
S01:E15 - Weird Woundings
The group of stories in this episode all involve weird injuries, one of these stories is a real pain while the other two are just pains in the neck. Your job is to identify the truth. We’ll reveal all at the end. Our first story involves a young man’s terrible battle with a twister which left him quite winded, the second story features a bovine beauty who comes to an explosive when a couple of farmers devise a gassy plan, and finally we meet a legendary beauty who endured great pain to preserve her looks. And in between, we’ll pique your interest with the ingenious contractor who caused himself great pain, a hospital patient who ignited a three-alarm fire, and the drunkard who fell asleep in a bed of concrete.
