Michelin starred chef Michael Caines and culinary legend Prue Leith present a new entertaining series. They will be judging 16 pairs of entrepreneurial and inspired amateur cooks who open their own restaurant at home for one ambitious night, in a bid to scoop the £10,000 prize and the right to say, ‘My Kitchen Rules.’ Tonight ‘Nottingham Newlyweds’ Karen and Alex from the Midlands have seven hours to shop, prep and cook a three-course meal for their rival teams and the judges. At their themed restaurant ‘The Green Wood’ guests will be transported to Sherwood Forest with the hosts displaying their love for fine dining mixed with the earthy flavours of the forest. But will their menu of Seafood Terrine with Homemade Soda Bread starter, Wild Boar Ragu main and Forest Tart dessert be a feast fit for their dinner guests? But scores for their meal are only revealed later at Kitchen Headquarters where the team with the highest score is given immunity through to the next round and the lowest scoring team is eliminated. The two teams left to battle it out in Friday’s cook-off are also revealed.
