S01:E02 - Name Your Champion, Name Your Cuisine
S01:É01 - S01:E01 - Croquembouche Relay
Each year team has just 2hrs 15 mins to make the most feared dish in MasterChef history. The twist is that they have to make one per team and in a relay. Contestant 1, 2 and 3 has 30mins and contestant 4 has 45 mins.
S01:É02 - S01:E02 - Name Your Champion, Name Your Cuisine
4 Rounds of cooking. Each team hasto nominate a champion to cook. The winning team from either the previous night’s challenge of the previous round then gets to nominate which style of cuisine they have to cook.
S01:É03 - S01:E03 - Firey’s Sausagesizzle
The first offsite challenge where they have to cook for a hundred firemen and women who are taking part in a huge training exercise.
S01:É04 - S01:E04 - Mega Mystery Box
Ten superstar chefs from around the world who have taken part in MasterchefAustralia over the years have all sent a gift –one ingredient to go into the mystery box.
S01:É05 - S01:E05 - The Onion Chop and Tag Team Fix That Dish
Round One: The first ever MC Australia challenge returns.All 12 contestants have to compete individually to perfectly fine dice one kilo of onions. The first to do so wins an advantagefor their teamin the second round: to see the dish they have to fix.
S01:É06 - S01:E06 - Knifemare
Each memberof the winning year team standsin front of their individualknife blockthat contains 3 knives in it. Written on each knife is one of their personal nightmare dishes from their MasterChef experience.
S01:É07 - S01:E07 - Ultimate Immunity Challenge
In a challenge of truly epic proportions the 12 MC All Stars line up in the MC kitchen.12 professional chefs who have cooked at least once in a MC immunity challenge then enter the kitchen and stand directly opposite them.
S01:É08 - S01:E08 - Gary’s Beef Wellington
Whoever didn’t beat the chef yesterday face a pressure test to cook the perfect Beef Wellington.
S01:É09 - S01:E09 - How Far Have You Come?
The ten remaining contestants have to recook the first dish they ever cooked on Masterchef and demonstrate how far their culinary skills have come. The winning dish wins $5k for their charity.
S01:É10 - S01:E10 - How Far Will Your Chicken Go?
The ten contestants are each given a chicken. All ten then must cook a dish in 20 minutes. The best three from this round are safe. In the second round the remaining 7 contestants must cook another dish from the same chicken but this time in just 15 minutes.
S01:É11 - S01:E11 - Cake Challenge
With $5,000 at stake for today's winner, the All-Stars each had to bake and assemble a cake that meet up to the CWA's exacting standards.
S01:É12 - S01:E12 - Mystery Box Challenge
The eight remaining contestants get to take revenge on the Mystery Box. After removing the ingredients for a barbecue they must smash the box up with an axe to use as firewood.
S01:É13 - S01:E13 - Zeus's Dessert Challenge
The final six were tasked with reproducing George's "Zeus and his 8 Mistresses" dessert in 3 hours.
S01:É14 - S01:E14 - Keeping Up With Cutis / Romancing the Stone
The episode is broken into two rounds. In the first round the five remaining contestants have to cook a dish without a recipe to follow.
S01:É15 - S01:E15 - Feeding the Navy -Offsite Challenge
The final four contestants meet the judges at the Sydney Fish Markets. They discover they will be cooking seafood for 100 people.
S01:É16 - S01:E16 - Favourite Things
Each of the three competing contestants has nominated their favourite ingredient. In this challenge they get to cook with their favourite ingredient but so do the others!
S01:É17 - S01:E17 - MasterClass
This is the only MasterClass of the series. It contains both fun and educational elements.
S01:É18 - S01:E18 - Grand Finale
The final three contestants cook a Maggie Beer inspired feast. The guests at the feast are the 9 All Stars who have left the competition. The winner is announced!
