Alvin and Elizabeth get irritated trying to share their work space. Elizabeth is ready to go to the masquerade, while Alvin's ready for a formal banquet. Elizabeth drives a piano tuner mad.

Alvin comes home from work to find Elizabeth in a foul mood. Elizabeth and Alvin recall their hesitant first kiss. Alvin becomes jealous when Elizabeth invites an old beau to dinner.

Alvin prepares to sail on a boat he bought with a friend. The couple are among the first to buy a TV during the birth of television. A friend visits and they try to teach him how to play ping-pong.

Elizabeth schemes with to go on Alvin's business trip. After the car needs repair Alvin explains how the engine works to Elizabeth. Alvin's friend Richard is tasked with delivering a birdbath.

Elizabeth tries to convince Alvin to let her plant a tree in their patio. Alvin tries repairing his television set by himself. Elizabeth and Alvin try to deal with a charmless carhop at a drive-in.

Elizabeth tries to stuff Alvin with salad so he has no room for lobster. Elizabeth inundates the milkman with bottles and stops Alvin's recycling. Elizabeth battles sea sickness on a boat trip.

Alvin learns nursery rhymes to prepare for Elizabeth's niece. Elizabeth is distressed when Alvin for the first time in their marriage goes on a business trip. Alvin and Elizabeth visit Moosie's cabin.

Alvin gives Elizabeth a driving lesson in their living room. Elizabeth has trouble acclimating to her new home. Elizabeth is warned to ignore Alvin's boss's toupee, but she can't stop looking at it.

Elizabeth gives herself a shiner the day Alvin's co-worker comes to dinner. Elizabeth and Alvin try to be quiet while her mother sleeps in. Elizabeth fills in at Alvin's office for a sick employee.

In preparation for a visit from her mom, Elizabeth turns the den into a bedroom. Everything goes wrong when Alvin and Elizabeth bike into the country. Elizabeth recalls her distaste for a neighbor.

Elizabeth and company get involved in some detective work. Elizabeth helps write a speech. Antics arise with Moosie.
S01:E19 - Scared Silly
Elizabeth and Alvin read mystery books at night and get scared. Elizabeth makes Alvin jealous by flirting with a neighbor. They take their car to a garage and Alvin falls under the mechanic's spell.
S01:E20 - Not for the Birds
Elizabeth brings home a parrot. Elizabeth gets angry with Alvin for falling asleep while she's chatting. One of Alvin's bowling buddies comes by early and interrupts their dinner with talk of germs.
